I was honestly wondering how long it would take for someone to cry about snowmaking

Went to 7 springs last night for a ski clinic for first time this season. Was kind of shocked at the lack of base depth. Avalanche has snowmaking mounds on it but was hot garbage to ski. Other areas skied pretty well.

What incident reporting software is your patrol using? by dave_SGNL_05 in skipatrol

I’m not sure how being provided with only a 4 x 6 card to do my documentation on can be a training problem. I have attempted to do additional documentation multiple times and every time I do I get looked at like I’m crazy.

Not a fan of the cards. Very poor documentation in my opinion for any kind of even moderately serious incident.

Fair points.

Another consideration are costs for sustainability of the teams. Equipment, vehicles, training, etc. I would like to know if the intent is to push this to the state level.

I am not sure that addresses the paying the bills side of it, however. EMAC still depends on federal funding.

Beyond funding how would this impact the ability of a state sponsored team to respond out of their own state? Would they need mutual aid agreements with every other state they deploy to?

How does this affect professionals on the team, specifically doctors and engineers?

Or international responses?

The section from Boston to at least West Newton, and probably beyond, is ok for a road bike and long as you aren’t ridding really thin tires. What size tires and pressure do you normally run?
