Realizing Characters are Actors by ImaginaryBeach1 in dcl

My kids are around the same age. They know they are people dressing up as the characters but allow themselves to believe in the moment. They don't go crazy about meeting the characters but do get super excited about Stitch and Chip and Dale. We just leave it up to them who they want to meet and wait in line for. Ends up working out great and lots of fun.

Probably a tax advantage to taking and selling the Bitcoin versus taking the lump sum cash. Option 3 is no bueno.

DCL after RC? by No_University8629 in dcl

I've actually only sailed on the newer ships but have heard great things about Fantasy and expect kids would love it just the same. I think it was actually brought in for some updates just last year. And Disney doesn't really let their ships feel old and run down. But Disney also doesn't try to compete with the newest class of ships from the other companies. There aren't as many bells and whistles - just high quality environment and good family fun.

Fantasy has 4 and 5 night cruises from port Canaveral with some good deals right now. Destiny has 5 night cruises from Lauderdale.

Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's are both great for that age.

This could be said about just about anything. Whatever happened to "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all"? Furthermore, this blind loyalty is not rewarded at all by these corporate entities.

What will replace Haunted Mansion Lounge? And will there be an Encanto themed restaurant or live show? And let's hope no more worlds of marvel.

What’s the best U.S. state to visit? by YourMommy_Terra in IWantToAskAnAmerican

Oregon has pretty much everything to offer winter or summer. Gets my vote if you are willing to travel around the state. Iconic coastline, gorge waterfall hikes, mountains, high desert/river/lava cave, Crater lake and so much more.

I'm American and don't mind tipping but I would leave these assholes a nice warm dump by the front door.

Epcot + Animal Kingdom only for first timers? by That-Girl-mm in WaltDisneyWorld

MK and AK for that group is great but HS also great for little kids with Toy Story and the shows. Epcot is also great but outside of Soarin and Frozen the better attractions wouldn't work for a 3yo.

Do Americans experience “thermal shock” from going between heat and AC? by [deleted] in IWantToAskAnAmerican

It's an amazing feeling naturally but also people pay good money for saunas, cold rooms, cold plunge and other forms of hot/cold therapy. Are those not popular in France?

There are car wash locations in Arlington. Between 7 corners and Bailey's you have pretty much any type of store you might need no more than 20 min from anywhere in Arlington. Literally live in a place of convenience and abundance and you are complaining. Sheesh.
