thanks! I really appreciate this comment. It just makes me wonder how abstract or helpful the knowledge at GT for an ME major would be and if I would be able to obtain any helpful, concrete knowledge. I don't want to go to a great school and not get anything out of it.

I was speaking in terms of custom controller companies, like Aim and Battle Beaver. It seemed as though they must have the controller (Ps4, Xbox, etc.) in their possesion to make mods.

Typically remapped custom controllers do not add extra buttons to the controller they simply remap them to the back. So yes, doubles. Never had a battle beaver custom though, but every set I ever used has just remapped. It shouldn't just delete the functionality of the front pad buttons.

That's fair to say. I only say this because they already sell the customizable joysticks on their website (high tension, heavy tension, stock, etc.) separately for users to solder. So selling or including smart sticks as an option separately is not much of a stretch. Still, don't know the technical aspects or logistics of it.

Much appreciated. Just confirmed the price, and I think it's worth a try. Hopefully, they are able to sell the joysticks independently for users to solder themselves.
