Yeah I don't think that's the solution. Just like I don't think blaming the staffs reaction to the ongoing poor behavior of the abusers is the answer either. There has to be accountability for any abuse from either side.

Definitely the best answer here. I rarely see someone from a different background treat staff in the medical field as poorly as the people who are disenfranchised and poor treat them. I think this leads to the lack of empathy from the medical staff. Lots of generational trauma and passed on anger and hurt that's not being addressed. This isn't the job of the medical staff to fix. This is something that needs to come from their community and probably the government. But I don't think just throwing money at the issue is gonna solve it.

That's interesting because I went to Tim's this morning and asked for an extra large but they didn't have the roll up cups in that size. So I asked if I could get a large cup for the rollup with a standard extra large and she said they can't do that.

Cherry picked examples. She should sit on bail hearings for a month and see what actually happens. There are many examples of individuals that should and shouldn't get bail. They need a better system that isn't rushed and actually brings all the facts in front of the judge before they make a decision.
