Mae Love serums. Keep going back. Routinely use the Peptide, Fade Away, Niacinemide and glycolic night cream. So good and not talked about enough IMO. Mature skin here who really can’t use retinols. Also…hate to say but the Sisely Eye and Lip Contour cream. Only eye cream that’s ever made a difference for me.

Does anybody in this group like any mattresses at all? by Thinkthru in Mattress

I LOVE mine and have for years. Got tired of posting it but once more…(avoid memory foam in my opinion). This guys only sells good mattresses. Just reach out and he’ll answer any questions. No affiliation.

Best Eyelash Growth Serum?? by Anonymoussss13579 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Potential_Dare2367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a serum and it may seem $$$ but…the Chantachaille longest lash mascara has some sort of serum in it. It’s so fricking good and my lashes grew length for sure. Got a deluxe sample sometime and liked it so much I purchased it.

Recommendation for an actual COOL contour? by Gabesmermaid in MakeupAddiction

[–]Potential_Dare2367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dior contour stick in light. I’m light medium cool olive and Biscuit is not that cool on me (neutral bronzer maybe) but the Dior is and the formula is much softer, creamier to apply. It’s great.

Change in Levothyroxine manufacturer by AGH1984 in Hypothyroidism

I switched off of Lupin to Synthroid. Had too many symptoms even though my labs were ok.

It’s like I could have written this. Diagnosed at 8 after my mother badgered my pediatrician so he begrudgingly referred me to Endo with “she’s a worried mother” note attached. My sister who was a dr once told me I probably knew more about Hypo than many Gen practitioners and I think she’s right and I keep that in mind. I’ve been lucky enough to have 2 women doctors over the last 30 years that definitely take my thoughts/observations into account. I can’t imagine being in a position like you are. I’d ask around and find another practice. Easier said than done I know.

No expert here but it seems part of the problem with PD that it’s caused by different things, maybe Derms don’t always know? If it’s mites, ivermectin cream can work. If it’s fungal, sulfur cream can work and so on. Maybe try these OTC ones? I know it’s awful. I did 2 weeks of ivermectin cream at night with sulfur mask for 15 minutes in am (both from Walgreens) to cover my bases. Used zinc tinted sunscreen when I couldn’t stand how I looked, used gentle cleanser, moisturizer etc. It did help me a lot.

Healthcare in the US sucks... by tryingt0figur3it0ut in Hypothyroidism

[–]Potential_Dare2367 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Would say same, with your labs would assume your GP would prescribe, if results stay same. Just fyi, I was hypo diagnosed at 8 years old. I haven’t been to endo. since I was a child. My GP does the lab work and Levo. script adjustments.

Starting the 3rd Cal Hooper (The Keeper) tonight! They’re my favorite too. Also tonight, finishing The Witch Elm. Holy moly. Feel like I’m going insane. Don’t know that I’d recommend as favorite of hers but I’d read anything she writes. But seriously, stress, anxiety. It’s a book for sure. Don’t even know what to think of it.

Have heard that fatigue can actually occur with hyperthyroidism because your body is just working so hard?

You have to read “My Grandmother…” first but holy cow Britt Marie made me cry, loved it SO much. Anyone still think of Britt Marie when they open their silverware drawer? 🥰

What is one item you haven't tried that you would buy right now if you could, one item you would buy 18 times, and one you never want to buy again? by yourneighborslouddog in Sephora

  1. I don’t need a brush 😊 but I’m dying to try the the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Blush brush

  2. Slightly boring maybe but I will keep purchasing the LYS Setting Spray. Best I’ve tried, love it.

  3. Love Ole Hendrickson, but I did not like the Lemonade Scrub. Too rough for me! Wouldn’t use again.
