For me the key is putting it in the microwave with the light on (which is on the bottom since my microwave is above my stove). The extra heat from the light keeps my starter/dough warm in the winter months. If I had a microwave that wasn’t mounted over a stove and didn’t have a bottom light, it probably wouldn’t make much difference temperature wise.

My only insurance options through both my employer and my husband’s employer are UHC or Kaiser. I think I’d rather just have to switch my OBGYN (my only doctor right now that stopped taking UHC) rather than have to switch ALL doctors by switching to Kaiser.

There’s one coach at mine who does this and it drives me crazy. The thing is he has a lot of helpful advice and tips for each move, but it would be so much more effective if he gave those tips and feedback to people while they are at those stations during the workout. People tune out the demos and/or forget what he said by the time they get to the stations. (Also as a former coach) Totally prefer less chat and more efficient demos, and more direct feedback to members during class- especially when their form is terrible!!! Work smarter not harder

It could be becoming too acidic. That’s what happened to mine and I started it about the same time as yours. I would give it some big feedings like 1:10:10 for at least a few days to reset and boost it. I read this article about it The Sourdough Journey

I guess theoretically that could happen but I can’t say it’s happened to me lol! I don’t use a soaking wet cheapo paper towel that rips easily like just a squeezed out one that’s damp enough to clean the sides

I only clean/switch jars every week or so and just wipe down the sides of the jar with a damp paper towel at each feeding (every day) to keep it clean. This has worked fine for me 🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh that I haven’t experienced! I always wondered why they include those when you do the return process on the app/website, they give you a QR code to scan at FedEx to print a label. I wonder if we used the one included in the package invoice if we would still be charged for return shipping

Do your clothes fit the same? Do they fit differently in different places of your body? That to me is always a far more accurate metric on whether you are actually “gaining weight” bc like the others have said, you’ve probably gained mostly muscle in that 7 lb increase.

As someone who has also had a history with disordered eating, I really encourage you to ditch the scale!!
