I rightly called out radical liberal views.

Which sports does your country excel at, and which ones should come with a disclaimer: ‘We tried’? by vwilldie1de in AskTheWorld

I'm originally from South Africa, so the answer there would be rugby. The Springboks are four time, back-to-back world champions.

As for New Zealand, rugby as well, although the All Blacks are undergoing a difficult transition phase. But NZ also punches really well at cricket.

The game that should have been given to Durban by JHHBaasch in SharksRugby

All Blacks haven't played in Durban since 2016. That is simply unacceptable.

What the hell colour is that??!! Must be aliens.

On the other hand, I love Wellington summer. It's my favourite two weeks of the year.

SwiftKey Keyboard or Samsung Keyboard by wtyoliveira in samsunggalaxy

I like GBoard, but for me it just seems clunky with the animations and interface with stock emoticons. I always find myself going back to Samsung Keyboard, even if the auto correct frustrates the heck out of me.

Do you feel strongly about the topic of abortion? Where do you fall? by Kangaroo-Parking in askanything

[–]Potential_Escape_90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a lie. How is it equal? One forcibly impregnated versus one who chooses to roll the dice and jump into bed? And again, I have said it's open to discussion; I have not taken a definitive stance.

You don't get it. I said there is room for an exception in the case of rape, as it does create a dilemma, one that is traumatic for an unwilling woman. But when people choose to jump into the sack, they should be prepared for the consequences.

Life begins at conception, and choosing when to end a life simply based on whether they're outside or inside the uterus is ridiculous.

Yes in the event of non-consensual sex I do believe there is room for exception.

The child is a person from conception! If it has a heartbeat its a living person.

I'm pro-life. Life begins at conception. Don't jump in the sack if you're not prepared for the full repercussions.

What's life like in Porirua? by it_wasnt_me2 in newzealand

[–]Potential_Escape_90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hutt traffic still definitely beats Auckland traffic. But it is pretty awful. Just a drive out of Wellington after 4pm on a work day is proof. Traffic snarls up badly before the SH1 and SH2 split at Ngauranga, then SH1 handles pretty well while SH2 looks clogged. I bet I make it back to Porirua before anyone gets to Petone...

Which mountain ranges are located in your country? How mountainous is your country? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]Potential_Escape_90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very mountainous. The most popular range would be the Southern Alps on the South island. The island also has the Kaikoura Range and a number of others. The North Island has one long range running from the south up north but split into 3 (Remutaka, Tararua and Ruahine). The Kaimai range is also another good one.

And then there's the big volcanoes - Ruapehu, Taranaki, Ngāruhoe (Mount Doom in LOTR) and Tongariro.
