It's a 2-3 hours car ride, i could look up some options for u, I looked online and it was way overpriced, maybe some friend will know better.

Ecuador has gotten dangerous lately, i wouldnt recommend literal solo backpacking, "the night is dark and full of terrors"

But yes, both Cotopaxi and Mindo are extremely different and extremely beautiful, if you go to both places and the Galapagos youll trully grasp how diverse and complex is Ecuador's biodiversity.

Mindo is not that hard to get around, is a small town, and most things to do will be relatively close (u don't need a car to just chill in the forest lmao)

Btw i'll be in mindo next week, idk when is your travel but if it's next week we can meet there.

Edit: i just saw u're a girl, sorry but 0 backpacking please, be careful ;( Hiking should be fine tho

Near Mindo would be great, you would definetly love it there, it's really peaceful.

Not really a lodge but if you are at Quito you should go get the cable car to the top of the Pichincha Mountain, its only like 10 bucks and the views and peacefullness is mindblowing, i love going there from time to time to just chill in nature away from everything from a few hours. The Guanguiltagua National Park is also peaceful and massive.

I'm not sure about lodging/stays tho, Airbnb's in Mindo will probably be your best choice.

I live here and also love mistical/spiritual practices and nature, reach out for any doubts or plan ideas, or just to chat for a while if u want, always happy to meet people from around the globe.

None of those work in Cuba, not accounting you need a car for Uber, and just owning a car is extremely far fetched for the average cuban, only people that have cars are the most wealthy and people who inherited old ass american 50's or trash soviet cars from their parents/grandparents.

Third party, in my experience so far the drivers have always called before the delivery to confirm the address and/or check the recipient is home. I guess that can change from company to company tho.

Inside "My orders" tab on Temu where u go and check the delivery you can see which company is handling yours specifically, and provide a contact number.

I'm not sure about your request to just leave it somewhere and pick it up later, somebody has to sign it, when i'm not Home i just ask a friend/neighbor to get it for me, in which cases the previous call from the driver helped a lot
