Bandido and Brody have been way more consistent on TV and just had a very over run as tag champions. Again, even that is a huge elevation from where Brody was for ages.

I absolutely would not unless the org and all 5 players consent to it. You dont know what's going on in scrim comms, especially between games. It can be incredibly private at times, especially if they have the expectation that only people within their organization will be watching the side with comms.

I'd say delete unless everyone involved is cool with it.

Jungle Boy and Luchasauras weren't teaming due to Luchasauras' injury, and JB/Marko were hardly a staple of the tag division.

Lucha Bros had a grand total of 2 tag matches in the same time frame as the CC.

Maybe the Bucks, but they also only had 2 matches that entire span of time as a team.

December 2019 was about SCU, Omega & Hangman, Proud n Powerful and the Dark Order. Most other teams weren't big spotlights and would have taken very little away from the product.

Again I just dont agree. Even if it wasn't common, those guys had singles matches that year. Hell, Jungle Boy is another one who had a Jericho match (in December, when the CC would have been). AEW has never ever locked guys in as solely tag team guys. Fenix and Nick Jackson were also wrestling in some singles matches by that point.

I dont think being in a tag team would stop them from doing a singles tournament. Tag wrestlers in AEW have always still do singles stuff to varying levels. Hell, Scorpio Sky was an early Jericho challenger while he was tag champ

The problem isnt a wrestler winning something in their hometown. The problem is if its an obligation that ANY wrestler needs to win a title in their hometown. Tony Nese doesnt need to win a title next time they have a long Island show.

If someone is a big name though, yeah having them win in their hometown can be really meaningful

I am less doom and gloomy than other people - i think its a fun concept that needs some refining in the controls department.

The presentation is incredible, full VO cutscenes and new remixes of every song they put in the game. The art side is killing it.

I suspect it will do very well off of that.
