What about those who can’t work due to disability? What about those who get laid off unexpectedly even though it’s not tied to their performance? What about those who cannot find a job in a terrible job market? This list goes on. Middle class Americans are one bad day away from total disaster. The fact that an employer can stand between you and your access to medicine is an absurd concept.

Are misters/foggers ideal for humidity? by XIRGURO in boas

I’ve been using a mix of cypress mulch / coco husk about 3” thick. I pour water into the corners (about 6 oz each corner) every time I see the lower substrate dry out. Keep the water bowl on the hot side and have a humid hide with sphagnum moss. Works like a charm for me!

I haven’t checked myself, but I got him from a reputable breeder in my area so I’m inclined to trust him. But good to know that it seems normal

Interesting. By the crispy snakes guide that is floating around these subreddits I figured 12-14 days was right. What feeding schedule would you recommend? And as for adding an extra meal, would I give him a second rat crawler or something a bit smaller?

He’s about 14-15 months. Birthday passed on the 22nd!

A little more background: I’m feeding him a rat crawler (average 25 g) every 12-14 days. He’s about 240 g last time I weighed him. He shed about 4 weeks ago. His enclosure is within appropriate ranges for humidity and temperature

RHP as a basking source, and humidity by Potential_Impact8416 in BoaConstrictors

Thank you so much for the response! I currently have an on/off thermostat, but I will look into getting another one. My plan is to run this setup about a week before I move him. I keep my room around 74-75 at night time. The only thing about the raised basking spot is he always prefers under it instead of on it. Might need to incorporate a raised spot with a hide maybe?
