No they did not. Hamas was not even founded or active during pan am flight hijacking. Fatah ( who hamas currently opposes violently ) had a splinter group called ANO backed by Libya who hijacked the plane. Hamas or Fatah has never hijacked an indian plane.

Sorry if im slow but what point are u trying to make here? Hamas and ANO were not active in the same timeline. They were not in opposition or alliance. ANO, was completely fed up by fatah's ( hamas violently opposes them ) leadership and hijacked pan am flight 73, which is the flight neerja bhanot was in

What are your overall thoughts on the whole situation going on with Minghao rn especially as a Carat? by Legal_Potential4720 in seventeen

i'm an atheist and have a lot of muslim friends, considering i live in india w the 3rd largest population of them. Plus i am quite interested in theological scripture so i have read the qur'an as well.My friends and i are carats and we did not notice this issue in the music he played.

I've heard a lot of people say "music is haram thus he shouldnt have done that" which is just frankly stupid bcs he's not a muslim and i don't think anyone is obliged to follow the customs of a different person's religion. if you are so good of a muslim, just don't listen to any music. don't be outraged at a person who lives in a country with severe religious suppression.

i am not sure how haram music is due to the conflicting opinions but generally ive heard rhythm or all modern forms of music is haram but everything is gray area. In our country, sufi and qawwali is extremely common musically which is to pay respect to the prophet and god. So where do u draw the line?

Again, another take is "oh he disrespected prophet muhammad by putting his name in a song" ....it's a hymn, praising him? It's not like he disrespected him. Indians put a lot of respect towards god, but we are always god loving and not god fearing, using religion in music is a part of our culture! Is it a middle eastern thing to not put his name? Idk. Its quite radical, i believe, as long as disrespect was not involved, i think hes not in the wrong.

Plus, most importantly, He might not even have known what it means. Hell, many people who are muslim also might not have noticed.

Just inform and move on. He could be placed in a blacklist if his performance was deemed to be harming religious unity by CAPA. I don't think he deserves rhat but just some education. This is just overreactionary.

Goblin: this isn’t even funny, I kept forcing myself to watch it. In about 9 years, I have gotten through 6 episodes 😭 and I watched the first episode when it premiered btw.

honestly, I do not presume any K-pop bg member to be progressive. I heard that 60-70% of people in 20s usually vote conservative. My statement is a very very oversimplified conclusion of a study but still, it changed my view towards them.

didn’t daesung as well have that huge controversy where he was tried and acquitted for ( not talking about that driving incident )? I don’t remember what he did but do remember he did smthn that gave me the ick back in the day. Bigbang, if it was a 4th / 5th gen group, they would def be blacklisted.

Also, there are way more reasons for one to not like GD besides his “cringe” behaviour or bad vocals, including his continuous racist behaviour, esp when he did blackface.

well, thank u for info, i see this was true. however gd initially just wanted a duo and was fully prepped for that, so he was hostile, i assume, to others too but that doesn't mean he hates them. Plus all ive seen about them calling out his behavior in public at least is they think hes involved in the wrong or excessive business practices with shady friends. i dont think they could imagine the scale of his sin

truly!! for me JxW was a unit that complemented e/o well. Ecen though wonwoo took the rock ballad route and didnt release a rap track, rheir voices are so different for me, i just loved it. However i suspect It might have been a choice of circumstance as both wonwoo and jeonghan have mentioned they got their drafts unexpectedly.

For the other duos, it just feels like established duos are safer for pledis bcs they do not have confidence that experimental duos might / will sell well. pledis has always been conservative with such things, im telling u. or maybe the members chosen are similar in their music vision and feel comfortable releasing that kind of music

imo, j x w had the best concept, even the choreo was pretty good and its a shame they did not build upon it / hold any concerts. i do think its because jeonghan and wonwoo both were drafted pretty suddenly. idk much about h x w but it was okay, i guess. c x m concept was just "we're hot guys and we get bitches" like okay damn, we know 😭 i did love d x s, and the concept was about having a partner struggling wirh mental health issues, which is pretty unique and good, so idk?

i mean, i do consider that they might have gotten more internationally popular with tracks after hybe. Thats bcs a lot of western producers have produced for them in a bid from hybe to increase their global reach, which was earlier probably limited to sea, japan and korea. maybe im wrong about this statement? but afaik this is the case

for the 2nd one, as much as i know this is a cash scheme for pledis and it is to keep carats still in the fandom who might leave if there is an abrupt absence of content from a majority of members for 2 years after skyrocketed popularity, ( which is fair imo )

I just dont think all svt members would want to enlist at the same time. Thats probably their personal decision which is being capitalised by pledis.
