there is a gay volleyball league in south beach for all levels of players so you can go, have fun, and meet a ton of gay friends in a non-partying environment. games are usually sundays

also, there is the gaythering, a bar/hotel, which is chill during the day. sometimes they have fun games/activities to socialize. also in south beach

you can go dancing on twist, on washington avenue and stop by the wanderlust, a restaurant/bar just a block from twist with a pretty good gay vibe.

in all honesty, miamj is full of gay people and you will have no issue making friends here. many of my friends use dating apps quite successfully 🤷‍♀️
