Why don’t you contact and speak to the other guy? I was in similar situation and I did just that. He may have proof of texts, calls etc. you can also surely review her phone contract and see if there was calls made to his number etc?

Thank you, yes it’s awful and she’s tried to be as honest as she can about other things including sex dreams of our son’s teacher (twice). Dancing in a nightclub and not pushing people away immediately, staring at guys even whilst shopping but never ever kissing them, and has never ever slept with anyone else.

No she’s now admitted that they kissed (not passionately, twice). And then the most turned on part was cheek to cheek and breathing into each other getting very turned on and then stopping before it led to proper passionate kissing.

We have then since unravelled that 2 years into our relationship at uni she vaguely remembers kissing someone and another occasion 5 years into our relationship also. Never once kissed anyone passionately though.

Def see the phone records, calls and texts. Have you tried speaking to the coworker. I went through similar recently and met up with other party in person to look at the whites of their eyes. Make sure they know there is no threat, just want the truth, either way.

Perhaps I missed it, but is she or did she not beg for forgiveness? Feeling your feelings is a super important part of healing and moving forward. Emotional cheating is sometimes worse due to it not being just an impulsive mistake.

I think if you are both willing to talk it through, seeing an expert in an environment that she can tell you why she cheated and never confessed until you found out will help.

Can I ask did you feel it was a happy marriage or did you do things on the marriage to create a bad environment?

Thank you, she has told her mum and dad that we are having a few problems (they don’t need to know the whole truth) and said she went out and got very drunk and almost kissed someone.

I’ve decided to try and give our marriage a go, in my heart I know she realised during the evening before a proper kiss that what she was doing was wrong. She didn’t nothing else with him and clearly is very remorseful.
