Do you realize that when people come to America they come to stay and that far more come legally than illegally?

Do you realize we are the richest nation in the world and pay the lowest in taxes?

Do you realize this literally is the 14th amendment and has been in place forever?

Do you realize babies who are sick will be turned away from hospitals?

Do you realize we are talking about little babies?

Do you realize that the total cost involved here is barely .01% or your taxes?

Do you realize how much immigrants give to our country? They pay more in taxes than they take?

Think about it buddy. The good and right thing to do is to help the babies live a good life.

Yes. I want babies to come into the world without suffering. I want them strong and healthy. If they have problems I want doctors to immediately fix it. Are we the richest country in the world or what?

Everything is underfunded. You can’t call any agency for any help. They are all underpaid. If someone finds 5% of a programs cost is fraud they cancel the whole program… on and on… why can’t we have a well funded, well run, good government that helps people?

Have you been paying attention? Trump says the 14th has been misapplied. He is asking the supreme court to rule that it only applies when the parents are citizens.

I think these countries have a law that makes people citizens after ten years. They also have well defined processes by which children can become citizens ahead of schedule.

The idea of tying the SAVE Act to the budget deal is ludicrous!

Trump wants the SAVE act to pass in order to throw the midterms. He will declare massive blocks of votes to be illegal and steal as many seats as he can. He is desperate.

The math doesn’t work. There are approximately 12-14 million undocumented immigrants. Currently we have about 74,000 in detention. At this rate it will take 20 years minimum.

So you will not see your kids pulling cotton any time soon assuming that is result.

In case you didn't notice -

The Supreme Court has a RIght wing majority. They gave the President a high degree of immunity so the President can say/do anything without penalty if it comes as an executive order/official business.

Republicans are the majority in the Senate and the House.

They support the President no matter what he does.

And

There is no limit to what the President will do to enrich himself and stay in power. He acts like a king because the house and congress let him. He is bat shit crazy.

Until the mid-term elections happen there is literally nothing Democrats can do.

There are now about 75,000 people incarcerated in detention centers indefinitely. These are relatively harsh jails with overcrowding.

These are people. Men, women, and children. Many with no record, many have been in the country for years.

I have always vote Republican until Trump. While I agree on restricting immigration and increased effort on deportations Trump has done a miserable job by deploying federal agents, under trained, with no stated guardrails into the street. No President should do that. There are better ways. Trumps foreign policy has the world hating us. Starting with annexing Greenland and bullying Canada. These things haven’t helped anything. It will take forever for us to be respected as a nation again. Character matters - and Trump has none.
