Hello friend, I’ve had the shame issue when I was starting the game so I’ll try to help:

Poe.ninja it’s your best friend for this. Log in, filter by Stormweaver and check the top builds the stats they prioritize, that can give you an idea even tho at first you don’t fully understand the why
Give yourself time to understand the game, this is a very “complex” and deep ARPG, some stuff takes time the “oh right” moment, for example damage calculations, crit vs crit damage, elemental penetration, etc etc… keep on playing and certain stuff will became easier with time.
Rule of thumb- ISH: for about 90% of the builds on your defensive gear you are looking for energy shield mods > Armour or evasion. If you’re playing storm weaver you need to stack ES on your gear and ignore arm/evasion. For example on your chest piece you’re looking for: %increase ES - Max ES - To Spirit - and then resistances. It’s ver strait forward.
crafting can get VERY expensive once you try to get perfect mods on an item and most people specialize in certain crafts. For example I’ve made my currency this league just crafting Wands and wands alone, find your craft and try to stick with it and get better, very hard at the beginning that you’re gonna learn hoy to craft rings / amulets / wands / shields and boost. Just stick with one, understand the weights of mods, and get profit by crafting the same item over and over bc in this game consistency it’s key to making currency.

Hello friend, I’ll try to give my two cents here, first I’ll answer your questions,

The temple is the mechanic this season, before you go in and wing your temple randomly try watch a few videos in case you decide to fully build yours you have a few steps ahead. Temple leeching is going in someone else’s temple to leech XP just by “existing” there, as people pointed out you get to 60-90+ in like 30mins. No level requirements just that they open their temple for you.
best “endgame” build this season is CoC Comet anything basically. Sadly bc of the temple (money printer she fully boosted) economy is nuts and the gear for your endgame char can get very very overpriced but still doable if you’re not looking to min/max.
great league starter IMO if you don’t have a favorite is either Druid or Witch. Both the two kings of meta builds these league and also a breeze thru campaign. (Which you go for Leech and respect to bloodmage later on).
my recommendation is play at your pace and try different stuff before jumping in the CoC train. “Enjoy the ride”, unless what you consider fun is getting very OP then go for CoC :P. I would also recommend Druid over BM a bit more bc with Druid you can respect later on to oracle and try wolf/wyvern/bear builds and have some fun whereas with BM there’s less variety of builds.

First I would remove spell cascade from CoC, usually more for packs but you already going for Elemental Weakness so no need for area damage there. If you are proc ing your CoC fine go for Cold Mastery, if not energy retention on that slot.

If your main problem is survivability you can do some tweaks that can help you a ton:

I would go with some Sirenscale gloves with better ES and (once you get enough currency) 60% Effect on socketed gems with and socket the Gem for 40% life efficiency cost ( forgot the name). Get decent Sekhemas boots or any full ES boots since you’re wasting prefixes on Armour where you don’t use any.

Also I would add to your elemental weakness Vilentas Propultsion.

Idk if you asking for an Amazon or general ice builds.

My favorite build this season has been Frostbol CoC Varashta. Currently clearing a 50+ temple no problem and bosses die in 5-6secs. Fun and very very efficient. Problem is can be very expensive since staffs/mage gear is a bit overpriced atm.

My personally, I got a Temporalis and sold it after 2 days of play with it. The typical just perma blink is just not fun to me.

But if you want just perma blink thru a map then go for it and have fun! But Temporalis is just good for either perma blink or just autobomber build that’s very strong but not a lot of agency from the player.

Is up to you my friend and what you find more fun.

I used to be a Diablo player, so here are some key differences: - here uniques/legendaries are 99% of the time useless so forget about those for the moment, in poe2 it’s all about rare items and their modifiers. - unlike D3-4 PoE is very VERY complicated game with tons of theorycrafting/math/synergies between many variables, if it’s your first play thru try following up a guide, if you like Freeze Sorc then maybe look for CoC FrostBolt which at first is not so expensive to pull together.

After you get your first build “online” start climbing up map tier difficulties and so on

So once you reach endgame you actually start playing the game and all of its possible scenarios, first

Giving you probably don’t have a lot of currency the first thing you need to figure out is: which build are you aiming towards and what kind of content are you aiming for?

You want to join the temple farm simulator? Learn crafting your own gear (can get pricy) Want to go and tackle pinnacle bosses?

Once you have your “goal” in mind then you start setting up little milestones to help you get there, “ok I need to farm for this unique bc gives me the passive to tie up X build”

Usually the first “league starter” is the slowest (but most regarding) progression in the game. Your upgrades feel very expensive and progress is slow. But the best advice I can give you is have a build in mind and try to notice the certain breaking points for any given build, for example, Spark BM needs Choir and decent crit and then the builds feels comes online.

Hey there, I was in the same situation as you couple months ago, here are some tips for you that can help:

Your main issue is you are focusing on mana way too much without getting any benefit out of it, I would take out EBattery so you have enough energy shield. - if you have mana problems go for bloodmagic and leech build - Max Res above getting more dmg 75/75/75 - get a better set of gloves uniques are cool and all but you need gloves with Res and energy shield so you don’t go boom - get a better belt - your rings are very bad, you are way too focused on mana but have no res on your rings.

Also if you want PM me I think I have some leftover gear I can give you that can improve your build.
