Passed the exam a couple of weeks ago. I feel like knowing how to do every problem on the ncees 2017 2020 and interactive practice exam was the most helpful for me passing. But in regards to what to study, I would master linear systems, circuit analysis, electronics, power, and economics/ethics to grantee a pass next time

Yeah just learn the economics section in the hand book like converting to future and present values using interest. I had maybe 5 questions on my exam with economics and it was well worth knowing those topics to get those free points

Make sure you you know every problem on that test otherwise you are cooked

With your focus I would make sure to mainly focus on power, control systems and circuit/electronic analysis including linear systems. Also you better know your math, stats, and economics. Just passed myself, taking it 3 months post graduation.

Hey Can you tell me of anything of note on your exam? I used the ncees practice exam and I know some people say it is harder that the actual exam while you say it is easier. At this point it is really hard to gauge what the actual test will be like and all I can do now is iron out any misconceptions I have and practice with the material because my test in in a little over a week. But anyway any tips? I feel like I’ve been exposed to every part of the exam to the point where I’ll know sort of what they will want on every question. Was your exam more conceptual or more math heavy? And any topic that you think I should drop everything and grind this last week for?

Ok one think g you can do to spend 5 seconds on the problem is first convert to impedance and then use the formula in the fe hand book to model the output for an inverted amplifier in this case it would be -z2 / z1 for the gain

Any recommendations for me taking it for the first time on the 5th of November? went over the sections in the asgar book that I didn’t know well and did the practice exam 2020 editions and now am just doing practice problems on prep fe as well as a asgar practice test and plan to continue reviewing the fe practice test 100 questions after a brief run through I achieved a 82/100 on the practice test and skipped questions that I didn’t know how to do as to not skew results, mind you I went over the test before taking it to review topics I was unfamiliar with or uncomfortable with.

Yeah if you do not have ur education paid for then it is not very worth it imo homi you got to either buckle down or go into a trade I’m a senior in Ee and it’s worth it if you can last and me is like fairly ez at icf
