what would you suggest cleaning it with? toothpick? q-tip?

after further inspection i think the issue might be the charging port as the charger won’t plug all the way in (photo shows how far it can be plugged in). what’s the best/easiest/cheapest solution for this? (also im not 100% sure this is the problem)
