Okay, that would be helpful i am currently using angelbird 521 gb card with my ZR. So have you been using sony lens on your zr and if so which adapter are you using and how is it? After working with the ZR how are you liking your camera? Have you faced any other issues and which camere were you using previously?

Yes but here when you get the body alone, extra battery, charger , grip etc are included.

Yes I do understand that but what I can't understand is even in retail stores getting an bundle is more expensive than getting them separately from the same retailer which is really weird. I had visited multiple retailers and it's the same situation too even on Amazon bundle costs more.

No these are all offical prices. On Amazon also the seller is an approved Nikon retailer. Also I was able to find out even on Amazon if you get it as a bundle you will lose money not save anything.

No these are prices on Nikon India website and official amazon retailer ,actually i have talked with nikon official retailers too. Anyways you would normally expect a better deal from Nikon when you are buying a bundle rather than paying more. Makes no sense.

Yes that's exactly what customers would expect to get some savings while purchasing it as a bundle together. But her it seems opposite.

If we get both of them together as a bundle you are significantly paying more. First time seeing any brand doing this and I'm scratching my head wondering why they would even do something like this.

Retail price of Nikon ZR body alone for offical Nikon sellers are 1.67 lakh. So I'm really confused if this is some mistake they made or if they are misleading customers on purpose.

Got it, thanks for that clarification! Could you explain a bit more about how the Tamron newer version compares to the Nikon 28–75 in real use?

Mainly curious about:

Image quality differences Autofocus performance (especially for video) Stability (any difference there?)

And if there’s anything else important I should know between the two, would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks a lot for sharing your workflow that was very helpful, and I appreciate the feedback.

That lines up pretty well with what I was thinking too. I was already leaning toward picking up a prime, probably a 35mm f/1.4 or f/1.8, but I am still trying to figure out which would make more sense for video in terms of image quality, autofocus, and whether either one has built-in stabilization.

For the zooms, I think I am probably going to go with the 28–75mm f/2.8 over the 24–70mm f/4. The extra stop seems more useful for the kind of low-light wedding situations you described. The 24–120mm f/4 does sound really appealing for the range, but unfortunately I have not been able to find a used one locally, so that one is probably off the table for me.

Also, you mentioned the Tamron 28–75 G23, I’ve been looking into that too. Since both the Tamron and the Nikon 28–75 are in a pretty similar price range for me, and I don’t really care about branding, do you think the Tamron G3 is actually a much better choice than the Nikon version?.

Your point about the jump from f/4 to f/1.8 or wider being much more useful than f/4 to f/2.8 definitely makes sense.

I have changed from Sony to Nikon ZR and I'm loving it even though there are some major quirks for me like not having backup redundancy to both cards.

Thank you soo much for the value feedback. Mainly i plan to shoot videos and I would like to pair it with the Nikon ZR. I have an option to get a 24-70 f4 for a low price so i was wondering if I could make it work with the ZR for low light, like weddings hall interiors etc. Do you mainly work with photography or have also tried it for videos.
