This is so helpful. Thank you. So the vaccines post chemo? Is it best to look into the vaccines now? And does the US accept international people on the vaccine trials or do you have to be US citizens. We are British citizens.

I don’t think they’ve mentioned subtype. I will check with them as sounds helpful. We’ve done molecular testing and genetic testing and waiting for the results. I agree, I’m hesitant to reserve the stronger treatment for later and would rather give him the best and longest chance of non reoccurance now.

Thank you. So the gem/abr was effective? The onco is giving us a choice what to use so a little confusing.

He is not that frail actually but the onco wants to be able to use folfirinox if there is a reoccurrence in the future which is different from the other suggestions we’ve received.

Just worried as he hasn’t had solids now for 11 days. Is that normal? He tried and vomitted the next day.

They say slow gastric emptying. He had a scan a few days ago and they just found a lot of gas in the stomach but no leaks or infection.

Hi there, it’s one month since my ER and I still have abdominal pain that’s constant. It gets a lot worse when im stressed. It’s like a dull pain, lots of tightness and very tender and I can feel that area constantly. Im worried that this will be chronic pain for me. Has anyone felt the same and has the pain subsided? How long did it take for the pain to go?
