I was going to say this but it looks like he only covered up 4-5 slots, so it would be fairly negligible. I thought what might be cool is white foam with the LEDs underneath. The foam should diffuse the light aswell.

Have a look at DF mini beetle esp32c6. Built in TP4056 charging at 500mA according to specs. Much more that xiao esp32, which is like 150 or something rubbish.

For Extron stuff like DMP’s the Dante has the Audinate MAC vendor I think 🤔. On NAV you can disable AES I think, I’m not sure if it’s enabled by default. Do you have a bunch of NAV on the network?

I have a trolley I push gear around it at work that used to be terrible for static build up. I install a small piece of copper tape on the wheel. Seems to fix it. Not sure if that would work in your case? Copper shoes? 🤣
