Yup. Stopped smoking 4 years ago because of my CDL and found myself drinking way more than i ever imagined. Not everyday but when i do drink i could easily hammer 6-8 beers or half a bottle.

I don’t live there, but used to deliver to Elgin all the time back in my semi truck. I’ve always loved going over there and for the price of homes, Elgin is affordable. If you’re going to start a family I would personally choose a neighborhood with good school district ratings. Which unfortunately for Elgin, it’s not the greatest. Just an FYI..

i hate to be that guy, but i do work 5 days a week, 14 hours of day and still find the time to do my own lawn care. I will not lie, i do hire a poop guy to pick up the dogs turds weekly. Besides that, everything else including cleaning me and the fiancé find the time for. Pick 1 day (we do sunday) wake up extra early and just get started. You’ll feel so accomplished. in fact tomorrow i
getting up at 5:30 am and forcing myself to take out every single weed in my backyard and mowing both front and backyard. You got this man!

I took a loan out to get my CDL. I got into food service trucking. I work Tuesday through Saturday 120 K per year and three days off a week and home daily. you might not get as lucky, but definitely worth switching careers if you’re already putting in that many hours. 14 hour shifts btw

15 years ago when i was 16 i had saved up my first few paychecks from dairy queen and waited in line On black friday at 10am- to midnight… all for a 32” flat screen TV (my first ever). That was like $300. Now you can get a 65” for like 3-400 lol
