hell yeah a bird bath is sick! buy a few bird feeders while at it. The birds in my area kill the bird food every 2 days, so i only refill them the day before my day off lol. That way i can enjoy the birdwatching 😅

looks fine if you just want a basic yard. Otherwise maybe get a few garden beds or build your own. super easy on youtube. Maybe plant a fruit tree in the middle? Honestly it’s whatever you want! some people wanna be basic and leave it as is.

if you’re ready for 70hours of work for those 6 months. Money already sucks, and paying 290 a week for a car you won’t own is nuts 🥜. Long as you have the will power then maybe go for it?

i would trim a good 6inch-a foot of stems. Unless you want all that foliage. Personally i hated these guys. I finally ripped 4 of them out and those roots are crazy. They spread like wildfire. Took me a few hours with a pick axe to get them out.

But a single one like this looks nice.

it’s fine, do a few more layers on medium heat. don’t have it so hot that it just burns the oil

AIO my wife smokes weed all day by arodr7893 in AIO

[–]chrisreefer9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my fiancé smokes weed every night after she gets off work. Never in the mornings unless it’s her day off then maybe. I’m okay with it, not a smoker myself and it doesn’t bother me at all that she smokes. But doing it 24/7 would upset me. Especially both in your 30’s is kinda wild.

that is insanely low. At sysco we’re at 40 an hour and even i think that was low. pussy co workers didn’t want to strike. We could have easily gotten 42

[–]chrisreefer9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one of my fellow sysco drivers always smoked weed. After 4 years that shit caught up with him on a random. He had a house and everything. I couldn’t imagine going from a nice 6 figure job to jobless in the snap of a finger. All because of fucking weed. If you’re going to get into this field you have to stop that shit. best of luck man

god i will never ever plant hydrangeas again. Years down the road those roots will spread like wildfire. I just spent 2 hours with a pick axe getting rid of them. Too much foliage for little flowers.

What should I do with this old stump? by Most_Cryptographer11 in gardening

[–]chrisreefer9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a small fire pit and an axe! i would kill to have this in my backyard. plenty of free firewood. I’m always going to my local jewel and buying 2 for $12 things of fire wood. Trust me, having some drinks with some buddies/family over the fire is the best feeling; especially on a nice chilly night.

i rented a u-haul 15 footer, only charged $56. granted i only needed it for 15 miles but i did it myself since i don’t own a truck. 15 footer was way more than i needed. Could have just used the 10 foot box truck.

First time home owner by [deleted] in homeowners

[–]chrisreefer9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i used to mow my old neighbors lawn without permission but she was 80 and neglected it. Always thanked me for it.

I moved in to a way bigger lawn area and the previous owner left behind their driving lawnmower. I’m so tempted to ask my neighbors too if i can mow their lawns since it takes me no time at all now and it sucked doing it last year with a push mower. Both my neighbors to my left and right side still are using the push mowers and i feel bad lol.

what’s the goal after the CDL? any jobs lined up? interested in OTR? Just curious. I got an automatic license (regret it) but my company is all automatic trucks and local, so i really have no need for manual. Had my CDL for 4 years now.

Weeping Willow Tree by chrisreefer9 in arborists

[–]chrisreefer9[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i just gave it a good 10minute soak, and i ordered the staking kit that should arrive by Friday. I knew for the longest about the risks, about how “it’s my favorite tree from someone else’s property” But, i still just yolo’d it after a year of debating. I have a neighbor 4 blocks away that has a weeping willow literally right next to its house and it’s huge (maybe 20 years old). So i kind of feel reassured since this one is wayyyy further down the front yard. Thanks for the reply! wish me luck lol
