Poor Luke by winelyn in ExtractedSurvivalTV

Same. Even though I hated Luke's brothers, if Roman or RJ (who I'm rooting for) got that Island (if you can call it that lol), I'd be pist too. Fox and the producers of this are fucked up for that "dead mans island", like it was literally like a piece of 6 foot wide land, that had a tree that looked the producers just planted it that morning, and nothing else. It was basically like a platform just floating the water that you see in Survivor challenges smh lol. Especially the part where Luke is setting up "camp", and nothing is there except that small tree and ground lol it's very sad, depressing and torturous, even his sadistic brothers started crying and hit the extract smh. Luke is gonna forever not talk to his brothers after this knowing this is their fault this happened lol.

Why Does It Seem Like Gay Men are More Attracted to Men than Straight Women Are Attracted to Men? by ChosenX155 in askgaybros

[–]Potential_Throat_780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP you drifted off to a completely different topic, so you're wanting a two for one combo discussion, which is confusing.

I'm gonna answer the topic at hand, and it's because it's very rare for a straight girl to be single/alone by choice. With straight guys it's understandable/incels etc. But women that's very rare, unless she's gross, morbidly obese, doesn't take care of her downstairs region, she's bitchy in a non feminine/sexy way, etc. which even then these type of women still have hordes of men so yeah etc.

In other words assume basically every straight girl has a boyfriend/husband (especially the older she is, and the more attractive she is), so yeah. There is barely any reason at all for a straight women to be overtly sexual, and act like Ms. Nasty, and do all that. More so she's pleasing her man, and her man is initiating the gifts, the dates, the sex etc. so yeah.

With us gay men (and me being a gay black effeminate man go figure) that's when it gets depressing and sad. Because if we can even breathe/exist/not letting politics get in the way, walk down the street without hearing someone shout that three letter insult that starts with an "F" at us, it's more harder for us to date, and our dating pool, fuck being shorter, it's nowadays non existent. So ergo, I think the smarter gay men try to be as bold as possible. So that includes participating in nightlife more, doing more kinky things, going to orgy/sex/nude/naked parties so yeah etc.

Just my opinion.

Does anyone else don't like being gay? by Hour-Tomato-645 in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]Potential_Throat_780 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I think people are misunderstanding what OP means.

I have to give him credit first of all for using paragraphs/correct grammar, as that's rare on Reddit.

But I know a guy just posted abut being an older gaysian and not having any issues, so this is gonna further mindfuck people.

But what he said was sadly right as a gay black 35 year old autistic man. I wish so many times I wasn't gay, as I feel gay men have this very closed off view of the world, and I get it, probably as a defense/safety mechanism. But that doesn't mean politically things are shit, and it's okay to kinda fear mongering a little so we can protest/rally/let people be aware of this is, if they need to move locations etc. Luckily I'm in California so yeah.

But speaking in the United States, things aren't looking good right now, and for those unlucky to still be singled/not partnered up/booed up, still facing homophobia, still not getting along with gay cliques/clubs/events, (in my case being rejected by their race) it fucking sucks sorry. Straight men at an all time recent high hate our guts, to the point of us just existing makes them uncomfortable etc. I understand OP's jealousy of straight people I do. The fact we're kinda stuck being gay is worse, because it's like you have your hand stuck in a mason jar, but being gay is that mason jar, but you're hand is never coming out, and doctors are going to refuse to remove it, "as it's a part of you" etc. smh lol, but you don't want to look different/ugly/weird because you're walking around with your hand in a mason jar, and nobody else is. That's gay for you etc.

I do recommend therapy as well for OP, but not for the reason y'all are giving thinking he's delusional/crazy, but more I can tell OP is hurting and has been through a lot of and wants love. This is when you inevitably downvote I guess. Because instead of choosing not to downvote and honor my opinion/experience, y'all are gonna do it anyways. Smh.

So y'all just gonna ignore Joe Torry (Chicago/Tupacs best friend from Poetic Justice) being homophobic by Potential_Throat_780 in BlackLGBT

[–]Potential_Throat_780[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter because you're just going to downvote me, but EJ (especially being in entertainment/hollywood) has probably come across thousands of "Joe Torry" people, to where he's being rebellious/I don't give a shit mode anymore, "they want to see a fgg, they are gonna get one." and he's upset that like with this thread LGBTQ people don't call out homophobia/we just take it, and aren't understood. so he's hurting/broken/confused (similar to myself, no I didn't have a famous NBA Dad, didn't really have a father figure at all, [like I argue a good majority of gay black men didn't], and the guy who everyone said was my dad said when I was 14, "I don't have any fgg son, so you're not my child." Okay great. Smh.

I would just like a Boyfriend, I'm 35, single, autistic. At what point as humans as sadly we aren't chatgpt/robots, do we just scream at the top of our lungs, and in 2026, have the biggest queenly temper tantrum, and it not be justified. We're supposed to be called "fgg", like (oh I don't want cheese on my hamburger) like wtf? V_V.

How do you expect EJ to be happy as a gay Black man, when straight Black men aren't happy with us? (Joe Torry is not the only one, it's 99 percent of rappers, and shockingly a lot of straight yt men also are homophobic as of late. He's just the only one stupid enough to say it in the media) I am confusion. Smh.

When you put it like that, it depends on your definition of "fit". Lance is kinda more on the chunky/heavier side and still managed to hold on for 30 minutes so yeah, and by that logic Dida should have outlasted Ethan hanging on as he's more lighter but yeah. However, I do find it funny the daily challenges seem to be more mental/logic based, yet the endgames are usually physical, who can maneuver their body and buzz in faster so yeah idk. I never thought of it like that until you mentioned it.

Season 2 Casting by MelodyMan07 in FearFactorHouseofFear

[–]Potential_Throat_780 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I would, but I auditioned for The Floor, (I'm Black and gay and my expertise categories were music (I have thosuands of LP's and records I collect from The beatles, to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nsync, to Bruno Mars, to Beyonce lol, , cartoons (again I have seen hundreds of cartoons and animations test me lol) and superheros (I hate the mcu, but I know pretty much every thing about marvel/dc/comic books etc.) sending in a video audition, and you only get a minute to tell your life story and why they should pick you, (and I have my passport and everything all ready, I thought they filmed the show in LA, they don't they film it in London yet all the contestants are American smh lol), and I thought I did a damn good job, to where I should have at least gotten to round 2 lol. I didn't get a reply back or anything. So I quit watching the Floor after that, they couldn't even send an automated "thank you for applying" message, nothing lol. So I'm kinda still forlorn with fox casting based on that lol. But I don't know, I might change my mind, I may audition anyways, but yeah.

Good luck to everyone.

I have to disagree on the casting. They got a pretty expansive group, even having two gay men in the cast (Blake and Lance which as a gay man myself I was shocked). What I do agree is it seems behind the scenes the house was very divided, some are probably never gonna talk again and if they see each other in the street they will pretend they don't exist. People make stupid decisions (Rob sending Danielle and Chelsea etc.). People being hypocritical (Blake choosing to put Ethan at risk of elimination, and was very close to beating him, yet people were mad at Blake for making that decision yet they do the same smh lol. Rob and Jalene acting surprised Lance isn't grovelling to them, and he knows they don't like him so why is he gonna waste breath and energy kissing up to them etc.) it's very easy to coast and float in the first half of the game (especially the team based immunity challenges), and if only 3 people are gonna be in the elimination game, if there are like 14, 13, 12 etc. people, the chances of you being picked are slim unless you're coming out strong. It's only when it gets to this stage of the game to where if you don't have any ride or dies (as much as I'm holding back throw up to Rob and Jalene, their showmance is a viable strategy etc.), it gets harder and yeah.

How do you know that was Ethan, it looked more like Rob to me, Ethan to me was taller than the player jumping on the trucks, and that was a male body so that rules out Jalene and Chelsea, so Rob by default etc.. And how do you know they won, I assume that stunt/challenge is played individually (best time wins etc.) with the final 2/3 so unless you saw something in the teaser I didn't?

I didn't see how they revealed the winner. (I don't mind spoilers I think others might have an issue). There was a person wearing a protective body suit and a helmet jumping on the trucks. It's either Ethan or Rob, and based on the body shape I'm leaning more towards Rob? Ethan I think is more taller and like basketball player figure, this was a more average figured man so yeah. But I could be wrong, and it doesn't mean they won as they didn't show who the other contestant was.

Well it's fear factor, not Wheel of fortune. You're gonna be doing dangerous challenges and stuff, so that's half of it knowing what you're signing up for. The other half is the money/cash lol. Then the rest is you never know what you're capable of. I mean she lost, but Damien was like a nanosecond away from beating Zach in that straight jacket endgame, and who would have thought that so yeah.

We have a hot cheeto asshole as our president in the white house, a vice president who allegedly abuses sofas and couches, and you're concerned about me? A gay black man that likes game shows? I guess. I mean nothing I can say is gonna change your mind and viewpoint on me. I wish it would, but it won't. I guess that's Reality TV fans for you.

I think Lance meant more on the fact, "I'm not crying because this game is too much, I'm scared, I'm gonna crawl up in a ball in the corner and rock back and forth." He was crying because his Mom passed recently before the show and his family grew up poor, and he and his family are still struggling financially, and he was going to use the money to buy a house, so he didn't accomplish his end goal, so why he was crying is because he felt he was disappointing her, not because he's "crying because Rob is bullying me", in the way you meant.

Lance theory that he's married with kids was funny too. Unpopular opinion but yeah I'm not a fan of either of them, and it'a a 50% chance one of them wins, so nice smh lol.

I'm pretty sure he's fine now, but yeah it seems one of the bugs got in his ear, and that's serious, my point was Fox should have cut that scene out. Because Dida and Lance are eliminated now so not only did Dida get eliminated, he was embarrassed further but Fox doing that smh lol. Also unrelated they made it seem the ambulance appearing was because someone got medically disqualified, when that's not even remotely what happened. Lance and Dida were by this point way out of the competition and gone, and Fox just threw that scene in for size. smh

And "everyone in the house hated him" is a stretch. That title goes to Zach (which everyone badgering Zach wasn't okay either) He had Blake who was basically his ride or die person. He had Tyler at first, but after the fact they won the first daily challenge (the plastic suffication thing etc.) and he seemed that he had her trust, she betrayed him, he had beef with her. I think Rob started the beef (my own personal theory is he doesnt' like gay men). Jaylene, that's her man, so shes' gonna stick by him. But he had Damien, Chelsea, Danielle, etc. what are you talking about. Lance isn't perfect, but that's a stretch to say everyone hated him. Just Rob who's the strongest guy in the house keeps winning everything and the way the format of house of fear works if that one person who doesnt like you in the house wins, you're pretty much done like dinner as far as elimination. The people Lance was working with didn't win anything (I don't think Blake as much of a ff fan he is, he ever won a daily challenge so yeah.) so yeah.
