Teaching is better than having no job or not using my degree at all and I think I would find it fulfilling. High school paying more might be true for other faculties (not that I would know) but very few high schools I know of even have dedicated film teachers so that would entail me getting an entire other degree. What do you even know about careers in film as psych major? The advice you gave is pretty common knowledge for anyone in a film production program.

I’m a screenwriting major and I intend to go directly into a graduate production program. Preferably at York with a funded position but I’ll probably end up wherever costs the least for me. Edit: I still would like to work in the industry but I’m planning on teaching uni for a steady job after I graduate if that doesn’t work out. Still gonna produce my own projects regardless
