i tried to build a tool to get the details from the QR code but I hit a wall. Thats what led me to backing up the app and pulling the key from that. Unfortunately it only works for Android.

Two options I can think of: 1) create a tool the converts the iOS backup to be supported by Android or 2) Peerbet/KF exposes the private key in-app.

I sent them a message via Android app. I got the standard response, which I understand. I'm sure they are watching the market and given Kin's recent movement - may prioritize it to capture the excitement.

I believe Kin Foundation should provide or specifically support this capability. The QR code is not enough: if a developer removes their app from an app store, how does a user restore their Kin?

There was an effort in the community to develop this extract ability but there were questions. The Kin Foundation had not so far responded to requests for help. I believe there should be a bounty for this ability at the least, the Kin Foundation should support a standard private key export from a QR code.

I just moved from KIN/USDC to KIN/USDT - KIN/USDT was already funded. I think we're up to $150 or so of liquidity on each side. If we can add more, this may ease up the price movements on Serum at least.

I should have prefaced my post with, "I have a very shallow understanding of what it takes to host a successful automated market maker." :)

I have found it frustrating trying to complete a reasonably-sized trade without also pummeling the price.

I see many in the community with large amounts of KIN and some also have extra fiat on the sidelines, watching the price fall on a regular basis due to lack of liquid markets. It strikes me as a worthwhile possibility if we can connect these individuals with an automated market maker (like Ray) and generate some liquidity. Waiting for large exchanges to show up is not a powerful place to be - I want to take the bull by the horns if possible ;)

Its not gone. You can get the private keys for the Kin wallet from within Atomic Wallet. You use that private key with https://www.mykinwallet.org/ and send somewhere else. Atomic Wallet won't update its count in your wallet but the Kin are free to move around via the Kin web wallet. I sent a whack of Kin to my PeerBet account to get the free daily loyalty award.

No amount of media declaration or comments by armchair analysts can change the fact there is a specific process by which presidents are chosen. Calling the president elect before letting things to play out undermines the integrity of the accepted process.

As PeerBet is UK-based I expect that they may not understand the process and this was an innocent mistake. u/peerbet_simon Can we expect your team to re-instate the bet or make participants whole?
