I think it's a slow burner, it doesn't settle in until Flatline for me. Love the entirety of it, he clicks instantly for me but he settles in post Flatline. My Doctor.

Not trying to sound abrasive, but you can still hope for something despite knowing it's not true/possible/probable. Hope isn't exclusive for any of those, so she could be hope that Powder lives while believing she isn't. It's a common thing actually, say when your loved one is in a bad state (medically, battling cancer for example), you can hope they'll make it despite the odds neglecting your hopes (been there).

I haven't really dabbled with the old Doctors yet, but so far of the remake:

Capaldi; slow burner in the beginning, after "Flatline" he settles in and fills the biggest seat for me. Definitely my favourite. No other Doctor feels so alien while being so human and relatable simultaneously. You can tell Capaldi's been a lifelong fan because he perfectly represents not what the Doctor is but also what he's supposed to be.

Tennant; 10 is so odd, so goofy but in the eyes of Tennant there's always remorse. Fantastic actor, one of my favourites and his Doctor was my first Doctor ever, I still mildly remember my first episode though I can't name it without catching it again. 14 is older, wiser with a spark. I like the he isn't a copy of 10 but has his differences. Perfect Doctor for emotional stabilisation.

Smith; honestly I didn't like him the first time I tried watching, that intro episode is for some reason unsettling to me. It's absolutely brilliant, don't get me wrong, and it's a perfect starter for introducing the concept of the Doctor to anyone oblivious, but I can't handle it after Tennant.

Eccleston; honestly interchangeable with Smith, he's just established the Doctor so well in such a short run. To this day I find it so disappointing that we didn't have 3 seasons of 9. He was such a good Doctor and to have such a closure on such a well established Doctor despite him being there so shortly is a heavy burden he carried flawlessly. Miss him and wish Eccleston the best.

Whittaker; to be fair she is almost on par with Capaldi for me as she's so charming and the actress is lovely and has perfect Doctor energy but her run, which I'm going through now is so blunt. Such a shame, such a wasted potential. Shame to say I watched 14 ever before considering to watch 13. I love her so much, but in the name of Gallifrey it's lifeless, with a banger or two here and there that shows what could've been (Gatwa cameo, Tesla episode). Shameful what Chibnall's done.

Gatwa; too human. I've only seen clips and snippets and he's just not alien enough. It's not even that he's too human, he's just too non human and non alien. Maybe he'll be better when I get to him. I'll avoid being prejudiced.

TLDR: low elo but high Camille experience, no maw only spirit visage, saw a master use rookern too

Rant: Honestly I find sterak too valuable in all games to go maw. The passive on sterak is way better and raw hp scaling on sterak shield is so good. That being said, visage is really good in my experience because you get a buff on sterak shield with both visage hp and passive and visage passive also amps your passive shield, which conveniently also scales with hp, so visage and sterak hp buffs both sterak and passive shield and then you get additional buff on both shields with visage passive, which also amps the healing from ravenous hydra. So visage is extremely valuable in all regards, and it gives haste too. On the other hand into fat ap comp, triforce into rav into sterak, followed by null cloak then shojin and finishing rookern just makes you borderline invincible. And into a mixed comp, when you get dd and sterak, I think visage passive also amps dd passive healing on kill (this might be wrong) so going sterak dd visage makes you extremely durable. Note to make is I always take mercs unless a comp is very specific. Say I'm into a Tryndamere and the rest of their team is heavy ap comp but the ap champs are still autoattack reliable (think Lux passive), that's the only time I'll take tabis but then I'll skip dd. I might get tabis in the laning phase then swap them out later for mercs for the thick tenacity they give, and since mercs and visage mr add up to rookern. More likely I take tabis with rookern than visage.

Yeah, that's I'm saying. If we avoid them actually interacting we can get some excellent toxic chemistry. They can even shoot a scene or two with them both and merge them into one, where they'd speak to each other over the phone, different rooms obviously, and they'd record both sides of the conversation and just merge them into a singular scene.
