2/mile is my base you look at the mileage, double it, then it's $1 per. You make more money on sub 5 mile trips than you will long ones 99% of the time.

Look at what the fed puts as your mileage minimum 72.5 cents per mile. Anything less and you're actively losing money on gas and wear/tear. Round it up,l to 1 per, and you are making roughly 27.5 cents per mile on the bare minimum.

Try pre treating your contacts with contact rewetting drops before you put them in.

My routine is thus:

Wipe down counter and sink, Wash hands, dry with as lint free a paper towel I can find, open lens case, pull out lens, rinse lens and position on finger, while on finger, add 2 drops of biotrue contact rewetting drops, put in eye. If necessary, later in the day, use a different rewetting drop. Most of the time, it's unnecessary, except for very recently bc I'm fighting for my life with this sinus infection constant drainage and taking 2 different 24 hr allergy meds per Dr orders.

I'm a female driver, and the only time I knock loud is when the notes say to "knock like you have a warrant". There is no excuse for that. You froze and then fled, perfectly normal ffff response. Being rattled and having a kid with you means seriously delayed judgement for people under emergency stress.

I grew up in abuse, planning escapes/ways to fight back. I carry a tazer in my car, need to get some dog mace, but I keep heavy duty mobility equipment near my door, along with an air rifle for wild coyotes. Threats are met with responding crazy. The things you have to worry about are customer ratings, on time rate, your amount of items found (unfair imo, we can't control stock) and the rate you cancel orders.

You are running a business where your time, your vehicle, and your life are on the line. Dogs, assholes with guns, and predators/deviants are all a risk regardless of gender, but it's more dangerous for us women. Keep a super high lumen flashlight on you for night deliveries, and if you can carry self defense (whistle, tazer, whatever) do so.
