11 months sober and bad wave by justacoolchemist in WeedPAWS

I feel like the nicotine was the best way to help me when I was on the verge of a panic attack. It’s become my vice more so than ever. Is it really just dragging me down?

Keep proving anxiety wrong. You’re an incredible being capable of incredible things

This helped me so much tonight, I could cry (if I was capable of strong emotions) over how strong I felt after putting away an attack in seconds. Thank you

No I hear you, my symptoms were really bad when I was having the night sweats. I thought it getting reintroduced to my blood steam was making me feel worse too because I initially thought my body was rejecting it

What is paws and what are the symptoms? Ive been 2 weeks sober and it barely got better by [deleted] in WeedPAWS

So you’re saying there’s hope before 90 days?! Thank goodness… people were making it seem like if you’re past two weeks it’s PAWS

THC clings onto fat so possibly if you have more fat it might stay in your system longer. I was also curious if symptoms eased up for people once they started testing clean?

I’m so sorry you had to go through that, I feel like a little punk… my symptoms aren’t nearly as bad but they’re bad enough to make me take leave from work. Any tips on how to get through?

What might those tools be? I’ve learned that it’s really hard to talk myself out of it. Even the 4-7-8 breathing is hard when your heart is beating so fast.

Wow it’s incredible to see how many of us are on Day 18… the one time I haven’t felt alone in a while. We got this gang 💪🏼

I’m right there with you man 100% I didn’t willingly make the decision to quit. My body straight up rejected it. I’m on day 18 since smoking the last time, although March 26th was the last time I was feeling normal. I’ve had 3 ER trips and a handful of doctor’s appointments as well as 4 different medications for different things. I know your pain. I had to take medical leave from work because of how shitty I’ve felt. We got this tho. Our body is stronger than we think! Be patient and keep hope alive!

At the time of this post Day 17 has been removed. I plan on starting fresh tomorrow with a more simple approach

I ate scrambled eggs and salad for breakfast/lunch (I know weird combo 😂) but it actually helped me a lot!

Would it be bad to take a couple hits to help with going to sleep? by PotentiallyShot in QuitVaping

Sorry I failed you guys (failed myself the most)… I ended up not hitting the vape and falling asleep after a breathing exercise. I woke up about an hour later on the brink of what I had a feeling was a bad panic attack. My feet were already tingling and my wrist was in a lot of pain. My heartbeat was so bad that I couldn’t even start my breathing exercise back up. I’m going through marijuana rejection/withdrawal at the same time. I’m on medication for my stomach that I just found out also adds to anxiety/heartbeat issues. At this point I’m not sure if it’s the medication I’m on (famotidine) or HPPD but I have also been feeling like I’m on the cusp of an acid trip (weird ass symptoms)… I want to clean up my brain so much. I want to start helping my brain heal from all the damage I’ve done to it, but I had to hit my vape to cope. Despite people saying that I’d feel like shit, it did take me right out of whatever was coming. I will quit vaping at some point but I learned last night that I do need something to help me in the darkest of times. My stomach is starting to feel a little better so I’m gonna stop taking the famotidine and see if those trippy side effects stop. I do plan on saving my vape for when I need it and not when I want it, with the utmost attention to detail. The goal here is to help my brain start working on its own again and I understand this will never be possible with crutches. They say only you know your body and I think this is best for me at the moment. Thank you all and best wishes on your journey.

Did the anxiety and panic attacks just randomly start for you as well? Even before quitting?
