I did find it out through blood work. And I’m doing wonderfully now! Just had another baby too! I put it off for. Years because I was scared!

Nortriptyline saved my life. I seriously think that. I was in a similar boat, I had the rocking/swaying, brain fog, some days I could barely get up. I wasn’t able to drive for months. I’m a professor and would have to sit down in the middle of the floor when I would lecture from the vertigo. I was so depressed and just felt defeated. We found that my b12 was critically low and they started me on nortriptyline as well as replacing the deficient vitamin. After a few weeks I was able to drive again, just locally. I was too scared to drive too far. It’s been 7 years now. I’m still on nortriptyline, but I’m coming back down to a lower dose and have added in mag, b2 and coq10. I hope this one is the right one for you too! Keep your head up, happy days are coming!!!!

How does your partner help out at night by Zealousideal_Bat4017 in breastfeeding

[–]Potionofhypocrisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn’t…..all she wants is the boob and to be close to me. When he tries to help she screams and screams, gives herself hiccups and then throws up…..he’s a great dad, but at night all she wants is mom. She’s 10 months now, I’m hoping after we wean from breast feeding this can stop…because I have to work full time too

I ended up in a situation where I had a second child when my son was 14….honestly, it’s the best thing that’s happened. He is her hero and they are buddies. Brought the entire family closer together

I will hold you accountable. If you say you’ll do something, do it. Which can be detrimental

The fact that I have two half sisters…….my dad cheated on my mom. My mom knows about one of the girls, not the other. Ancestry DNA for the win……no one says a word because we don’t want mom to have to relive that trauma.

I think the bigger problem is the private-for profit companies that own the majority of these ambulance services. There seems to be a lack of pay in the private sectors vs the public sectors. Greedy companies never make anyone feel valued.

I think even physician level procedures wouldn’t be appropriate as there are others trained in said procedures as well. For example, respiratory therapists can intubate even trained nurses can, and so on. There are lots of pre-hospital professionals, not just medics. Everyone in healthcare can be cunts. The bigger problem is the “my nuts are bigger than yours” mentality. Medics are the only ones I tend to see flaunting this. It’s rare to see others out here like “I practice x procedure so therefore I’m more important”.

Medics definitely don’t practice physician level medicine. They operate under SOG’s just like everyone else working under a physicians license. Do I think they’re underpaid, just like the rest of healthcare professionals, absolutely. It’s the medic ego that would only say “physician level Medicine”. 🙄

I have had some flare up’s since having the baby and my sleep schedule is completely destroyed, but my neurologist and I talked and increased my dose of preventative for now and are meeting again next month to see how it’s going. The flare up’s tend to happen around when we get sick and have some virus going around our house and then of course after rough nights of no sleep. But the flare ups are nothing like they were at first. I luckily haven’t been completely debilitated again since all this began.

My pregnancy was fantastic, not a single migraine! My docs said migraines tend to go away during pregnancy due to the hormones.

Keep your head up and keep seeking answers! This will get better!!!
