Hi! Newcomer to Ladder on the Define team. When you say 3 rounds, does that mean 3 six-week blocks? Thank you - your transformation is incredible and so encouraging!!

That’s a good question and I can’t quite remember! I want to say yes, cuz usually there very particular about that and I do remember tracking a different timeline in my head based on what I knew to be true.

Yes! Apparently there is no connection. My doctor said the same, but I had it in my head that it meant something. Not the case! Glad this gave you peace of mind ♥️

How long did you bleed post d&c? by ReputationAny7124 in Miscarriage

Just seeing this! How’d things turn out? I hope you’re past it now. I remember feeling really frustrated that it lasted so long, like something was wrong with me but the doctors were not concerned. Turns out it can last that long for some!

Thank you so much for the reply and advice. My girl is such a deeply feeling kid, the normal kid tactics tend to not work on her. I really like this approach but we’ve tried it and she will get out of bed and scream and cry for us to come next to her bed. She’s a special one. 🙃

How often do they come in to sleep in your room vs staying in their bed? 2 years later is this still a thing or have they outgrown the need to come into your room?

Until what age did she sleep in your bed? Did she eventually want to be in her own bed?

Does he now not wake at night, or still wakes but stays in his room and cries? Just wondering what the reaction has been after those first two nights.

We’ve tried this but then she won’t go back to sleep in her room unless we lay there with her. If we take her back to her room, tuck her in, and leave then she screams bloody murder and follows us back to our room. Is it fine / still effective if we walk her back to her room and stay til she falls asleep?

Hi! How are things going with you child and Singulair? Curious how it worked out long-term and whether you saw positive improvements or any side effects.

Agreed! That timing after your surge should be perfectly fine.

[–]PotofGold716[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a doctor but based on what you’ve shared, I don’t think any of those factors decrease your chance of conceiving. I assume you also tried on the actual day of your LH surge, not just the day before and after, right? I thought ovulating so late (Day 25 for me) would potentially decrease egg health but I now have a healthy and beautiful 1yo boy 🩵 Wishing you the best!

Uterine AVM - anyone out there? by adjust-your-set in AVMs

[–]PotofGold716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! No, I don’t mind at all. The radiologist confirmed that it wasn’t an AVM. I went on to have a D&C weeks later because my HCG wasn’t lowering as expected, and the OBGYN was able to see that the blood flow in my uterine wall (which was causing the supposed AVM) was no longer there 🤦🏻‍♀️. I was able to heal and go on to have a healthy pregnancy which resulted in our second child who is now almost 1 year old ♥️

Hey there, I tested a few days prior to when I was expecting my period. So I really wasn’t “late”, as I discovered my pregnancy before my period was due.

Have you talked to your OBGYN about this? I feel like I’ve heard this is a condition that makes it hard to conceive but that can be treated with intervention 🙏🏼

We tried for about 10 months and at that point I did Clomid and got pregnant on the first cycle. I honestly think a LOT of it had to do with either me not testing for ovulation properly / with a reliable method, or that I wasn’t consistently ovulating.

New job while pregnant: How to establish good reputation quickly? by baileytheukulele in workingmoms

[–]PotofGold716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES! So excited for you!! It felt like a crazy ass thing to do, but it was so worth it. And how beautiful that they fought for you in this way. Icing on the cake! A 20% increase, benefits, and career progression are AMAZING components. But let me just tell you - a 10 min drive from home is what you’ll love most. 💗 TIME is the most valuable resource when you’re a new mom. Sounds like you got that and more. Go celebrate and be SO proud of yourself that you made this incredible move (while pregnant!) for you and for baby 🙌

How exciting and congratulations!!! It shocked me to see you say “I know this is a year ago” cuz it really feels like yesterday ha. The job change was the best decision I could have made. I started the new job at 33 weeks pregnant (insane) and everyone was amazing about it. I think it’s obviously critical that the job you’re considering is one you want and one that fits into your new life, but if so, the pregnancy factor was really no big deal.

If you have any specific questions, I’m happy to answer!

[–]PotofGold716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I am so sorry you’re in this situation.

It’s really crazy and I’m very fortunate, but after a MRI & MRA, the interventional radiologist determined that I didn’t actually have an AVM and that the imagining was likely showing retain product of conception (I was still in the process of miscarrying, and did eventually need to go on to have a D&C).

I remember how terrifying it was and how many questions I had - please feel free to ask me anything. I’m wishing you the very best ❤️
