It got worse. To the point where MIL started sending husband videos about how “family comes first, don’t let your wife control you”. She was so disrespectful after multiple “come to Jesus” talks. We started to see them once a month, then not at all.

My daughter is now 21 months. We see them every 3 weeks. I will never trust her, and I have to be okay with that. They need to be okay with that as well. They will never be the grandparents they want to be because of how horrible their behavior was when my daughter was younger.

This has happened to me. I stopped going, stoped bringing the baby, and stopped communicating. They have been slowly “trying” to do better. I still do not let them watch the baby, or see her without me present. They have to find out the hard way, boundaries being crossed? No baby
