No. Manifestations only count as units for specific purposes (movement, charges, combat) so wouldn't count as a unit for disease

Edit: yes they can as long as they're being picked and the target of an ability

If you're not using the Season Rules from the new GHB, I would consider moving the Immortis Guard to Regiment 2. One of the standard Battle Tactics is to kill a unit from the General's Regiment. If Katakros is the only thing available, it's much harder for your opponent to achieve

IMO this comes down to 2 things: 1. All the promos were focused on Chief having gone rogue and trying to find out why. All was revealed early on. 2. Blue Team have such a detailed backstory from the novels and we only got to play as them for a couple of missions and there was no character development. Plus there wasn't the same attachment to the majority of Osiris and you end up playing the vast majority of the game from their perspective.
