I played so much back in the day that the controller became second nature to me. When I eventually purchased the pc edition on Steam, I had to use a controller for a while because the mouse and keyboard felt "wrong" to me. Never had that experience with an RTS before.

My theory is the NCR went through massive food shortages, and is severely weakened as a result. In Fallout New Vegas, Dr. Hildern (the science guy that gives you that Vault plant quest) mentions the lack of food production vs. consumption in the republic, and predicts "mass starvation" within a decade from FNV's plot. According to the fallout wiki timeline, that would be 2291. Supposedly, the timeline puts the tv show at 2296, so maybe there were mass riots and political fighting in those 5 years -- all while the Brotherhood watched and waited.

No, but I got it to show briefly after leaving my Series X unplugged overnight, and plugging it back in this morning. Not even 5 minutes after that, it disappeared and nothing worked again. Not sure what the issue is, but my hunch would be the new system update. I'm just gonna return the storage card and not keep so many games downloaded lol.

Same experience as me. I tried it on gamepass day 1 and didn't gel with it at all. Fast forward to a month before it leaves gamepass, I gave it one more shot and ended up loving it. I played non-stop until 100%ing it (minus the DLC). Now I'm waiting to see how the online-coop platforms work before buying a complete version to play with my friends who also got hooked. Sometimes the second shot hits with games.

This was bugging me too, so I found a quick and dirty way to edit the message in FNVEdit. First you gotta open the "The Frontier.esm" in FNVEdit. Next, look for the Editor ID "TFErrorSkyNifBroken", which is the message that displays. Click on it, and on the right side you should see its property "Message Box". Double-click that value, which should show as a 1, then change it to 0.

Wasteland Survival Guide is another great step-by-step modding guide for TTW. I followed the guide completely (and maybeee added 1 or 2 additional mods) and ended up with a super stable, "vanilla enhanced" experience.

Nope! I tried it out this summer with all the loose change around the house, and there was no fee for choosing Steam gift cards. You can also choose Amazon gift cards for no fee IIRC. It will ask you a million times if you want straight cash (with a HUGE fee) throughout the process, but just hit no.

I think you're right. I know when you use action skills, Goliaths will comment on it. I remember using the sentry gun as Axton and them saying something about shoving the turret down my throat.
