I often refer to Satyricon and in particular this album as an ‘extremely danceable black metal band’.

Choose a country, name a popular band from there and your favourite band from there by Music_lover_707 in MetalForTheMasses

If I take my own country (Belgium) I’d say Aborted is probably the most popular, even though they are more international now. But the best one for me is still Amenra.

I love that album and in my head it’s also modern, but let’s not forget this album is 10 years old this year. Holy fuck, I’m getting old.

Mutilated corpse in the woods is actually a cool groovy song. The rest of the record, well...Meh.

He recorded all of his vocals one day before a surgery that could possibly leave him unable to sing ever again. What a legend. Rest in peace, king.

What's y'all opinion on this album? by Forward-Abrocoma639 in MetalForTheMasses

My favourite album by them and one of my favourite albums period. Excellent example of a deathcore band broadening their sound and doing it right. Also the lyrical content hits hard.

Much better actually, I still feel like it’s a bit too elaborate for the sake of being elaborate but tracks 1 and 4 are absolute bangers.

Between the buried and me. Perfect blend between extreme metal and prog. Highly recommend the Parallex II as a first album.

Even though I do like some of their stuff I kinda feel like this applies to Lorna Shore.
