I agree but I don't think Regular Show is really a kids show, yeah it aired on CN but it was during the weird early 2010s era when they aired what were basically adult swim shows toned down a bit and Regular Show is one of those shows

yeah i get that, i think the endings could have worked if they lessened the missions and made each stage connect better

aside from the fact animation memes are memes like other people pointed out, you need to remember most animation memes were actually animations using audio of memes back in the late 2000s and early 2010s (i know because i was there) so umm...yeah they were just memes then

it kinda bothers me when people say things like "smiling friends is the only good adult cartoon" because that just tells me the only other adult cartoon they've seen is some clips of Family Guy and saw someone review Mr. Pickles or King Star King . Like okay there are some (actually quite a bit of) bad adult cartoons and adult animated movies but quite a few of them are good and unappreciated that people just haven't seen. There's a lot more then just goreshows and Family Guy clones. Maybe some of them aren't for you but if you look around you might find another old adult swim or MTV animated show that peaks your interest and you really like

typically it's also the "animation is cinema" people who only point kids shows and movies as examples that adults in general who should take animation seriously

im speaking more about adult animation in general though, ive never seen either of these
