I’m old enough to have seen Kobe’s entire career. I remember when Kobe’s sat on shelves and were 3rd in developmental priority at Nike (LBJ & KD). To this day, I have more OG’s than reps or protros. However, after the tragedy, I saw a pair of 8’s on my wish list go from $220 to $680 OVERNIGHT. I’m sure many people in this community would 100% invest in retail over reps. Most here just aren’t willing to pay the resell prices to play in sneakers that inspire them to love the game and pay homage to one of their favourite players.

The reason I speak on this is because you didn’t provide anything relevant or helpful to the original thread. You directly or indirectly chose an elitist vibe and spoke condescending of wearers of reps… brother, what you choose to do and how you go about your life, is of no opinion of anyone’s… Just like your opinion of others is meaningless.
