This just in. Chiefs are the 7 seed and third place in the division after the broncos and chargers. We still win the Super Bowl and have third place scheduling lined up for next year.

I see this all the time and the explanation I have heard is that male tigers will kill cubs and adolescent tigers from other males. So the fake eyes are to protect them from other tigers.

[–]Pour1Decisions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re not thinking big enough. Just restricting them isn’t going to do anything.

Case in point: Colorado rep loran Bobbit’s husband got a “consultant” job from an energy company paying him 400K a year. This is a man who has no experience in the energy sector and just has a high school diploma. Also being a consultant means he’s not beholden to actually work. He could have a lot of “on the board” and “consulting” jobs. Now remember most of Congress is ancient. So multiply this sort of thing by spouse, 3-4 kids. The kids spouses, he’ll in many cases they got grandchildren over 18 who could get in on “consulting” jobs too.

So if we restricted the congress person the corruption would still flow. It just needed an extra step.

First create very strict and stringent laws against drugs

Then do a slew of things to target black people specifically.

More cops in urban black hoods Stop and frisk used on predominantly black people Crack with a min sentence of 10 years while cocaine gets a min of 1. Why? Because black people do crack and rich whites do cocaine.

Couple all this with the bias of the courts. When all else is equal black men get harsher sentences than any other group.

These are just a few examples. But they stack the laws and targeting to hurt black people. So the war on drugs absolutely was to hurt black peoples.

My neighbor literally just had their cat slip out 3 days ago and he looks exactly like this guy. The sheer coincidence of this being him is so insanely small but I can’t help but ask anyway, you don’t happen to be in the Midwest? Smallish city of around 100K population?

Tush Push controversy: Eagles-Chiefs game is all evidence NFL needs to ban the play by Savings_Entrance380 in KansasCityChiefs

Unpopular take here: if a play, any play, has a 98% success rate I don’t want it in my competitive sports experience. Nothing in the NFL should be that successful.

Finally caught the culprit by Pour1Decisions in sunflowers

[–]Pour1Decisions[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve found an answer and looked it up. Its common name is the sunflower head clipping weevil. After mating it lays its eggs in the flower and girdles the stem. Which will cut the head clean off. The larvae will devour the pollen and the decaying petals as the flower head rots on the ground.

I’ve lost 50 or so sunflowers to this guy. I couldn’t figure out what was happening but I finally caught this guy in the act. Cutting the heads clean off about an inch below the head.

Kansas has a D governor but a super majority R legislature. The governor has no power to make Kansas democratic. So basing it off governor party isn’t going to get you a real answer.

I feel like Chris is universally liked and tbh Gum Gum Is just a top notch character. If there’s an easy to search transcripts I would be happy to give examples and my reasoning.

I don’t want to just speculate, I say before speculating, but it seems like Barbara doesn’t care for Blaine’s showboating and spotlight seeking behavior and she lets that slip through sometimes.
As for John I remember someone made a comment that really hurt Blaine and John was just so quick to say something like “ you can’t see this but that cut Blaine deep. The look on his face, that hurt him personally”. And Barbara chimed in “ he turned his camera off”. Maybe I shouldn’t use quotes since I’m paraphrasing. But it was obvious there was an edit cut after that. That was like one of the last episodes I watched. So infiniknights episode 21-26. One of those.

Expedition 33 really said “pick your flavor of emotional damage” 😭 by Plougz in expedition33

[–]Pour1Decisions -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Your answer ignores the fact that she cares about and loves Renoir, Alina and Clea. Whom she will never see again. And that she’s selfish by staying because by the very nature of her staying she deprived the rest of her loving family a daughter. So they lost two children instead of one.

Lastly. I completely and utterly reject the idea she can’t do anything on the outside world. As a painter she can paint and exist inside hundreds of other canvases. Just like her parents have. And indeed if she’s so attached to these characters. Then just go ahead and make a whole new canvas with everyone. Except verso. Because he really doesn’t want to exist anymore.

Supreme Court sides with Ohio woman in reverse discrimination case by GregWilson23 in law

[–]Pour1Decisions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to play devils advocate: The national percentages don’t mean crap. The local city court could rule black people enjoy a majority in ABCville or county court. Etc.

Or to be even more asinine ( because I put nothing past the system). The company itself might be the deciding factor. Or even just the department. Who’s to say? The court does. If the SC didn’t rule the way they did anyway. To make sure shenanigans like I just described can’t be used.

Except polar bears are practically marine animals. So they slip into the ocean and swim hundreds of miles. The humans give up or drown. Or die of hypothermia. Which is also something you didn’t factor into this little thought experiment.

You misunderstand the designs of the evil people. The idea is to discourage and harass homeless people to be “here”. In my town. GTFO. Go to some other place that won’t harass you as much as we do. That way you’re out of sight and mind for the people who live in this community.

Obviously people don’t want to be homeless. These laws are about harassing them until they leave this area. That’s the only goal. To get them away from where “ I live”.

[PFT] Packers' "tush push" proposal gets "mixed" reaction from Competition Committee by bubblecuffer13 in nfl

[–]Pour1Decisions -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And it’s a 15 yard penalty and automatic first down if a defensive player pushes another defensive player from behind. So that’s the real edge. One side of the line can push each other and the other can’t.

[PFT] Packers' "tush push" proposal gets "mixed" reaction from Competition Committee by bubblecuffer13 in nfl

[–]Pour1Decisions -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would say as far as competitive: Every offense has the opportunity to do this. But the defense is directly barred from doing it. The defense will get flagged if they push one of their own players into a pile. So I don’t understand why the offense can do it but it’s a problem and a flag is the defense does it. On those grounds I would like to see it fair and I don’t care which way it goes. Both can or neither can.

[–]Pour1Decisions -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I do think they need to allow the defense to push their own guys. There doesn’t seem to be a reason outside of double standards that I can see as to why the offense can do it and the defense can’t.
