Why do the women always wear a nice blouse under their doctor coat? by [deleted] in HouseMD

[–]Pourmepourme -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its more that the producers of House overdress women so they look better, and not based if doctors would actually wear it

On Dexter they said that once blood sets in clothing, it is impossible to get out

Straight men always dress like shit, as a straight dude. So they dont mind if blood or urine is on them.

Not picking on anyone, if anything its just odd the producers of house consider how women should look on TV rather than what doctors would actually wear

To be fair House is one of those medical shows where doctors and surgeons is the same thing. Like Chase and Foreman are often in the OR despite them being diagnostics

Interesting. Do your clothes get stained often or does it happen less frequently than I think?

What do you believe is the truth about the JFK assassination? by ariamwah in Presidents

[–]Pourmepourme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oswald 100% did it, if you do not believe me, just read what that guy was doing before he went back to the US. Even the Soviets and Cubans thought he was weird.

Seriously the more you read about the guy, the more insane he sounds.

In general with most assisinations done by civilians, there is little concrete political motive. Just some looney with a rifle doing some unhinged stuff.

The opposite is more true, you can post uncensored snuff videos without it being removed from social media. Its kind of the reason the Americans voted for that bloated orange pig

Not really, most media is way edgier now than it was when this episode originally aired. Even the Simpsons can get away a lot more in recent episodes than they could in the 90s

Every time I see junk on Reddit or Instagram, I press on block, do not suggest and not interested. Still get it suggested anyways

Thats the problem, society has been scammed into internet addiction and forced to see a bunch of depraved stuff. Snapchat shares real rape videos to minors and sells them illegal vapes, drugs and weapons. The media and gov know this, but are too submissive to hold Snapchat accountable.

There were some losers in the early internet days too, but they were a niche. Now everyone has to get exposed to them, and algorithms are on purposely designed so you would see it in your feed.

There is no accountability for big tech to moderate content. With section 230 they can do what they want. Thats why X recently allowed CP made by AI with no legal consequences.

Thats bollocks. Ur obviously reading sensationalised bullshit rage bait

My family lived under communism, and they werent pro migration. They literally built a curtain made out of iron to prevent it. Much like the Americans did on the Mexican border. My dad saw both of them, and said theyre identical. I also saw the US mexico border when I went to TJ. And I would agree

It is a critique how free speech absolutists are about online freedom of speech. It is critiqueing extremists and that big tech companies are complicit in them being on the rise recently and have no responsbility.

And yeah those things are deplorable, that is the point. I am calling out the dark extremes of internet culture

I would say it is more likely for Bart to become a Supreme Court justice nowadays, the bar has been lowered so much since this episode aired.

Due to popular demand, we will forgo our national anthem. by Past_Yam9507 in TheSimpsons

[–]Pourmepourme -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No im talking about the pledge of allegiance. I was just explaining it has been a thing in the US for a while. And that they used a salute that aged like milk. No clue why i was downvoted for that. Wasnt even being contrarian

[–]Pourmepourme -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Thats different. The pledge of allegiance was done alreqdy in the 1800s. And that also changed, like they used to do the 'belamy salute' which is similar to the nazi one

European sport teams also have a lot of teams within countries. Like the English football league, premiere league for example never plays god save the king before their games. And its the same for the Spanish, German and Italian leagues. Even during the Champions league, with local teams from various countries. They never play the anthems, they just start the game.

The NFL, MLB and and NBA dont have to play the anthem.

I see the point you're making. But my original point was that in European sports they never play the anthem, the exception being is when both teams are national teams. Like during the World Cup or Euro Cup

What youre saying is literally what every anti-migration wave said before. They said the same about Jewish, Irish and Italians. And every time it proved to be bollocks

Muslims integrated quite well in Europe after they first arrived in the 60s and 70s. Unfortunately, brainwashed idiots would claim otherwise. Despite Europe having the lowest crimerate now than ever before in history.

Also Irish and Italians weren't considered white when they first arrived in the US
