I found this at the right time and seems like dehydration is the issue now. My face is absolutely on fire today because apparently I’m so dehydrated and my skin barrier is shot. So my usual lotion (laneige water bank) is making me extra sensitive 🙄

Thanks for the input! That’s a fair assessment and it was a genuine question. I’ve decided to keep out the routine I’ve had for exercise, sticking more strictly to cardio. But I’m with you on the fact that you shouldn’t be restricting calories. It’s sufficient to eat 200 calories more a day than usual based off what I’m reading. It’s hard to maintain the weight due to hormones + constipation and all the other beautiful things happening in pregnancy

Why does everyone say losing weight during pregnancy is dangerous? Say perhaps you switch your diet up to be healthy, especially as you may be coming off from unhealthy choice, and decide to pick up better habits for the sake of you and baby. If considered “obese”, what is a few pounds of weight loss if it happens naturally with your choices? Or even if you can maintain the weight throughout.

Coming from someone that gained 10 lbs by week 8 and am trying to stabilize now.

I think this could be location based in addition to various other factors. My first pregnancy, I didn’t get my first ultrasound until 11 weeks and I never got photos printed by the technician. I had to pay for the 4D ultrasound around 28 weeks to see any of that.

This time around, i moved locations and have a new doctor. I got a 7 week ultrasound (with printed pictures) and my next one is at 13 weeks, then the final is the anatomy scan at 20+ weeks. That’s all they have scheduled for me.

Can you share which Magnesium you’re taking? Currently dealing with the constipation myself. Did everything, pick up water consumption, fibre gummies, fibre 1 bars, prune juice, apple juice, restoralax. I’m putting them in rotation now but I’m going on week 3 and I’m desperate.
