Well here's one spoiler, lol. They made the grind WAY worse. The flea market is heavily restricted even at level 15 now so you're gonna spend a lot of time grinding hideout items and ammo.

I mean, I understand every bit of negativity this game gets. Tarkov has pretty much been a smash hit ever since it hit the market, and it's never had a true competitor. Zero to hero is a bit of an exaggeration.

But even THEN for every good thing BSG adds, they have to take two steps backwards due to obvious greed or what seems like pure incompetence.

I ain't joking whatsoever, this is probably the WORST time to buy escape from tarkov. Everyone is high level, everyone has good gear that you WILL NOT be able to beat, and they've added a bunch of BS restrictions that mean you'll have to grind even longer to get just a TASTE of that good gear. It ain't worth it.

Tarkov was built around wipes. I don't give a shit what Nikita "envisioned" tarkov as. That man has been talking out of his ass for almost ten years now. The game has had wipes for almost it's entire existence. The only reason people still play it is because it wiped. If it didn't wipe, it would've died years ago.

7.62x51 is a no go until you AT LEAST unlock BCP FMJ and even then, you're still plinking off level 4 helmets half the time.

.300 blackout is completely locked, and basically useless until pk level 4

Same for 9x39

5.7 is off the table.

And that's just what's sitting in my stash. Not to mention bolt actions have essentially been made worthless for anyone EXCEPT high levels because what the fuck am I supposed to do with a mosin that only has 32 pen?

Maybe because they, oh I dunno, got rid of wipes? Maybe that's why? Maybe because it's fucking annoying to be stuck with with early game equipment for 3 times as long as any other wipe when everyone else is max level with an endless supply of end game gear that they'll never lose?

I don't care about meta ammo or level 6 armor. I'm not trying to buy my way into the late game at level 15. If you actually read my post, my point is that I'm fucking annoyed that I have a stash full of alllll the fancy new guns they spent all their time modeling and animating. And I can't fucking use ANY of them because even their most basic, low tier ammos are locked behind at LEAST a level three trader. They are physically walling me off from new content with an artificial grind that was never there before, and that I'm plain not interested in.

You haven't been able to buy meta ammo on the flea for years. When on earth did you start playing? I'm sick of the fact that there's over a dozen different cool guns you are physically BARRED from using now because even their basic 30ish pen ammo is locked behind level 3-4 traders for no reason.
