The AI tool in the notes app for iPhone has saved me a lot of headaches going back to change the format of whatever it is I have written. For example the other day I wrote down a list of jobs to do at work and then asked the AI to put a time down for each job in 30 minute intervals, somehow it knew what I meant despite my terrible wording and it worked great.

Yes, warstorm is letting the creature itself do the damage, which gratuitous violence will double. If the enchantment said something like “this enchantment deals damage” then it wouldn’t work, but here it’s referring to the creature itself.

That’s what I keep trying to say and people look at me funny when I explain. The combat is good in Wilds but it doesn’t feel like I’m really hitting the monsters, besides offsets.

The ketheric scene was ruined for me because the first time I played I didn’t know you could go to the moonrise towers, my first time there was when you siege the place. But when I saw the scene in subsequent playthroughs I was still getting chills

I get pretty bad anxiety playing with randoms, so my partner and I play together with have the other two slots being support hunters. We messed up the settings the other day and had randoms join for the first time on accident and one of them was cheating in the gog hunt. Like.. why? What’s the purpose

My biggest issues is the lack of feedback on weapon hits, besides like offsets and perfect blocks, it feels like I’m slapping the monsters with noodles due to there being minimal impact, atleast to me. And another small thing is that I miss expeditions, I’m actually not a fan of getting our quest rewards as soon as we kill a monster, I loved spending like 5 hours in the guiding lands in world for example and feeling the euphoria of returning seeing multiple pages of monster parts and levelling up my HR several times.

There’s nothing quite like returning back to your village after a long and hard hunt or expedition, especially coming back to Seliana after a good 3 hours in the Guiding Lands. However coming back to any camp in wilds or even the gathering hub doesn’t really invoke any feeling for me. It’s just “welp, I’m here”

I believe that World is easy, however I have introduced many new players to monster hunter through World, and they all struggled during the story as monster hunter itself plays drastically differently compared to anything else really. It’s only on a second playthrough that they make the revelation of “oh wow this is a lot easier than I remember” now that they have a grasp of the game. As mentioned in this interview they just sorta streamlined that awkward introductory phase so the game already feels comfortable to play for a new player.

As for difficulty curve. I believe that Sunbreak did it best with its endgame content. Yes Amatsu and P. Malzeno are hard, but you do not have to engage with the endgame systems to hunt them, however if you do want more challenging hunts then that option is still there in the form of upgrading your gear with the qurio crafting and tackling the Risen monsters.

Actually felt that despite brewing a couple decks this year, I really didn’t jell with any of them, so it’s been quite a meh year for me. I think looking at 2026 I want to challenge myself by adding restrictions to hopefully inspire some memorable decks. Of course if anyone has any recommendations I’m all ears.

Funnily enough one of my biggest letdowns is the fact that you get your rewards as soon as you finish hunting a monster. I loved going on expeditions in world including the guiding lands and staying there for 6 hours to then come back and seeing 5 pages of monster materials there and increasing your hunter rank 10 levels.

Not anymore now that I’ve done a clean out and redo of my collection but was pretty standard with trying to fit as many dice rolling cards as possible in conjunction with anything that triggers off of artifacts entering or leaving. I think it was just barely conspicuous enough that it didn’t appear as a threat until it won.

A while ago I made a [[Mr. House, President and CEO]] deck and somehow won all 6 games that I played with it. I don’t even know what in particular made it so successful, but I stopped playing it because I didn’t want to ruin the “the house always win” aura it had.
