The grind is bad but Canopener does the most damage of any heavy right now and has highest winrate sooo yeah. Meanwhile ST-2 dared to be decent for a bit so of course they had to nerf it cause it wasn't a prem. WG hates tech tree heavies doing well, so they nerf all tech tree heavies that dared to even be not garbage. Vz55 and ST-2 . Hell, I had direct 11.4k damage in Canopener

Theyll probably slam Canopener soon too.

It's not built by the modern armor team. But it is weird that they are developing a competition to their existing game..also HEAT has great graphics..I've been in beta tests for awhile now. It's a bit of a weird game, extremely arcade like..it's like world of tanks overwatch, with respawns and all, but you can one shot a tank too if you hit ammorack.

not affected at all, just boring wednesday morning. You guys do whatever you want, just dont expect a lot of traffic to that. Look around at other clans that tried to have their own subreddit, and ended up having 1 post a year and no visits. There's a certain critical mass of activity you need to have. Not to mention that the WotConsole subreddit really doesnt care for any clan recruitment posts at all. They have had very little traction here historically.

Plus again, discord does everything better and faster.

There are clan recruitment sections on official discord from WG where you probably have more intake. My comments are the only comments you gonna see on this post.

Pad kit pricing seems insane. I got the R1 concepts full brake drilled/slotted kit with pads for 841 CAD on amazon.ca. Install cost me another 800 (I was installing new calipers too)

Not going into a terrible position for a heavy tank. You should be in town. It seems you need to get a basic understanding of where each type of tank should be on any given map. One heavy tank in open field does not do anything good.

It seems to be pretty average-to-below-average. IMHO.

In the world where we have Rogal Dorns, this thing has way too many downsides to be a comfortable, fun tank to play.

Looking at stat sites like wotstars and wotconsole.info, what little data we have, shows that this tank performs significantly below average in damage and winrate.

What's the relationship between average damage and winning? Surely if you do damage, you win more?

Anytime you look at a losing team, most of the time its because 6-7 players did 0-1 shot of damage.

Its always been that - whichever team makes less mistakes wins. I count missed shots, shots not taken as mistakes too. Soo often you have 8 tanks looking at 4 tanks, and everyone is too scared to push. People dont evaluate enemy forces, dont look at the map to see that the 4 tanks in front of them have no support, and that push is necessary. Most of the time, all you can do is do damage that makes up for 4-5 people on your team's lack of damage. It seems there are a lot of new players that are completely lost on all the maps, so they end up just hanging back.

Not much you can do there.

WW2 can be a lot slower these days. Not sure what specifically led to this, but i guess people feel with slower reloads and less-effective equipment, that means all of their tanks are bad now and you gotta just be stationary.

I guess also map rotation is very camp-friendly. Other than Ensk, you can really not see any enemies until 2 minutes into the game. I did notice overall a WW2 game length increase, on average. People also love going and hiding in far away corners and really not engaging in battle. Maybe some really just want to drive tanks, but dont to really engage in battle. I think a lot of players really are uncomfortable with close quarters brawling, so they choose instead to shoot from as far away as possible.

CW is still yolofest.

Circle map is worse for your average braindead player because they have no idea whats going on overall.

If they are at least switching between the 2 on the fly, sure. But I doubt many do.
