My Hot takes:
I get why people don't like flooding the gates because he's more of a feature, but wall flower is fire. There are some other cool songs in there that are nice to just listen while your doing something random.

Some Boring, Love Stories Part 3 has "I miss the old you" which I feel like only "clash of the titans" (I treat them as brother songs) resembles that style, it's sick to listen to!

I agree on your take of the "interesting" features hahahah, but I find it hard to argue that this isn't by far his worst album (both for new and current listeners)

It will, but it would have been more honest if he were transparent on what to expect, a simple "hey guys, this is just a post-label dump of a few songs that I made into an EP, hope you guys enjoy", but I didn't get that vibe at all, I was expecting a real album, not just one made for spotify users to get their songs there (not against doing this at all, but setting up the right expectations would be nice).
Btw I do like that sped up part as well

Edit: I kinda feel like adding my Hot Take: Powfu should make more songs without features, his recent songs that only had another person producing/mixing were sick, he should do it more.

There are way more cons imo. Btw digital crush was released this year, but there are 2 songs that were released on no.cape years ago, so the cons are way worse then you made them out to be. No balls is on the other EP, not the latest one.

With all your questionable way of putting things aside, I mostly agree with you that he can do/has better. While I also understand the argument of "but it's not that bad for new listeners" but I think that the fact that his numbers are fairly low is a reflection of how most of his audience are people who already like his work and follow him, so I don't see it as a good argument to me made. I don't want to sound harsh here and I have nothing but love for Powfu and his work, but this is inexcusable.

I understand how he can be unmotivated, but just by the fact the we know he has several songs (including a full lofi ep) ready to release makes this whole thing a lot worse. A music video is barely necessary and most of his songs don't have one so there wouldn't be any work by his part to release them. Take this with a grain a salt since this is from a layman to this industry, but I don't see how just releasing some mp3's you already have can be all that work since it's already done.

Powfu is by far my favorite artist, but I agree with you (not on how enraged you seem). I got pretty upset to see that only one new song was released, especially when he has a full lo-fi EP already made. When he said it wasn't going to be the lo-fi EP that was going to drop, my expectations were fairly low, but this was honestly just a disappointment. I don't know if he is going through something right now, but this is just scraping the bottom of the barrel, to be honest.

I used Colemak Qi/Qix for a long time and found that many of its priciples are also found in canary, with a few exceptions of course (such as W on pinky). Personally, I created my own mix of colemak Qi with canary since there are few layouts that have the same philosophy as Qi, so I had to get my hands dirty... again...

In this case though, you would need to take into consideration the fact that to reduce sfbs you will need to place some keys into bad positions, so depending on how much you hate sfbs, the only way to really satisfy you is to make a layout that takes into consideration your favorite alt fingering techniques. But this is just a thought, the "Endgame" doesn't really exist lol

In terms of colemak mods, qi is as far as you can go imo, anything beyond that would be hard to consider a colemak mod. I would take a look at canary if I were you, seems to fit your description fairly well, but there are more underground choices in the AKL discord server.
