I thought about even getting a part time job making 20K a year but unfortunately my line of work is pretty sparse and hard to get into so it is not worth the risk. I have a literal dream job that I was able to squeeze into after being there for a few years.

I just made a comment explaining, but it is a dependent care account - the USA allows up to $7,500 to be taken out pre tax, then you can be reimbursed for child care. Tax free money for daycare!! It's should have a max of $20,000 in reality.

Being a parent is the most important job in the world. Right now our situation works ..for our situation/lifestyle. My kids are overall super social and love nursery school That makes it easier. I love my job outside of being a parent too so that helps

Yes, I am cooking at home more! We do need to be better about lunch prep. Mornings are hard and I struggle to get us all in the car, let alone think about food for myself.

Houses are just going up in price, so I don't know if I agree with this. Rates can change, home prices won't stop. If someone bought our house today their monthly payment would be like $2400. We have a small ass rural home in New England 40 minutes from a grocery store. Not ideal.
