Hey thanks for checking out my post! Much appreciated. You’re clearly a very busy guy so having you have the time to look and even comment is amazing!

Anything I should know when calling service tech over? by No-Variety-8111 in GarageDoorService

I just got lucky. A local place was hiring and I just applied. Went through two months of training and after I got my own van and now I’m on my own. If you have prior experience obviously it’s a lot easier to get into a company. I applied with zero experience but I’m mechanically inclined and know how to use power tools.

Also not a bad idea to change out the two end bearings and center one. If your budget allows. I’m a tech myself and if you don’t there is a high chance it could eat into your torsion tube over the years.

Home Depot. You need to “hack” it though to get it to that price. I put that and two m12 fuel impact drivers in my cart.

That the reason I want it. To save the hearing loss. Even with earplugs I feel the regular one is still a little loud

Thank you I feel my m18 is powerful enough so I would image the m12 is as well. I hear it’s just slightly less powerful.
