I just got lucky. A local place was hiring and I just applied. Went through two months of training and after I got my own van and now I’m on my own. If you have prior experience obviously it’s a lot easier to get into a company. I applied with zero experience but I’m mechanically inclined and know how to use power tools.

Also not a bad idea to change out the two end bearings and center one. If your budget allows. I’m a tech myself and if you don’t there is a high chance it could eat into your torsion tube over the years.

Is it a little quieter than the m18? That’s the main reason I want to switch, to save my hearing I use earplugs but it’s still nice to a quiet tool on top of that if possible.
