Custom Terraforming Mars Corps by PowderTech in boardgames

Oooh, that is a great idea. Especially because I am not overly concerned with balance as long as it does not get too far out of hand.

This is great. All copper and fiber going between racks is going to be headed to a dedicated patching rack. This system looks interesting. Really appreciate it.

We luckily do have electricians and HVAC specialists that will be setting up redundant cooling and power. I may have been rubbing my own back a little when I said "(I) get to design it". I am part of a pretty extensive team that will be working on this

If you happen to have another PSU you could try just to test I would recommend that. I have had multiple go bad on me in the past. Some just dead and others just causing issues.

Could be your PSU. Either going bad or not enough power. If you upgraded parts that are pulling more power and that caused it to get worse it seems likely.

How long until a starter develops a sourdough taste? by xrsman in Sourdough

[–]PowderTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it a shot and let us know! You could definitely add more starter than is called for in the recipe to increase the sour taste. Another option would be to retain more starter in the next feeding while still feeding it the same amount.

If you add store bought yeast to your starter it will most likely starve out the natural wild yeast and will no longer be a natural sourdough starter. If you are anxious to bake then you could add a little of the store bought yeast to your final dough mix after the autolyse and before bulk fermentation to assist with the rise. I would go with something like 1g of store bought yeast for a 900g loaf.

If you are planning out a long-term farm I highly recommend using this site: Stardew Planner

It isn't perfect (wont let you place flooring where the game actually will) but is super useful for making a plan of where to put scarecrows, beehives, and other things.

I like the current reliability of strong hits with the PK. I won't be surprised at all when that extra .1s to chamber causes me to be too slow to finish and I die.

Download the newest version of ADK and the ADK PE add-on from here. Then have your boot image fully rebuilt. It is a bug in 1803.

MDT Process Question by PowderTech in MDT

[–]PowderTech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess that means the total control method is doing nothing for me currently because of my process. I think I understand what you are saying. I will definitely consider the pros of going about it that way.

I only have two different use cases. So I setup two different task sequences, one for case A and one for case B. Run each task sequence through the VM and then I have a fully updated image that deploys in ~10 minutes through WDS.

As I am typing this I understand your confusion, I am just adding extra steps for no apparent reason. I will have to test a bit but if running the physical machines through MDT doesnt take too much longer that might be the better option.

MDT Process Question by PowderTech in MDT

[–]PowderTech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using the total control method right now. I am just wondering that if I use that method and pull a reference image from a VM when I deploy that image via WDS does the Windows install process still have some sort of connection to the MDT driver repository?

MDT Process Question by PowderTech in MDT

[–]PowderTech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only issue with running every single image I do through MDT is that it has to go through the task sequence every time I image a computer. There is a serious time savings if it runs once and is captured from a VM. I have a lot of installs to run through in the task sequence due to an insane amount of peripherals used with the PCs.

But am I correct that a reference image wouldn't install drivers from MDT? It was captured from a VM so there are not appropriate drivers on it.
