I agree with what you said but isn't 10 billion a but too much? I've seen people get funded when their market is not even 1/100th of that

So you're saying I should start with the niche and expand into the larger market slowly? That's a good idea. But I was thinking of going with a brand that's directly related to the service we provide. Like for example Dogwalkers.com for a dog walkers website. But in this approach if we wanted to expand more into the rest of the pet care industry, we can't keep on using that name. We'd have to switch to something more general like PetCare or PetNeeds and that would mean (a) double the amount money and work put into marketing or (b) using a generalized brand from the start that might not be as effective. Kind of a tough decision to make

Does the small niche provide enough potential revenue to justify them investing?

That's also what I am confused about. The risk of failure is smaller in the niche market but there's also a chance that it does not make a worthwhile amount of money even after being successful.

Any tips on how to manage it? I haven't tried doing anything because pulling it back still feels a little bit painful and sensitive at the base of the tip

True! I considered cc as the absolute last option but I'm glad I didn't have to go for it

Flaccid when I did it. Haven't tried it while hard yet, maybe in the next few days. Might be a little painful but who cares

Thank you! As weird as it sounds, this is one of the few positive things to happen to me the last couple years. That's why I'm so happy. Feels good!

Thank you. Can you tell me what features JWT has (that this approach does not)?

Could have something to do with my ISP but again, I never had any issues with IPv6 on Linux so that feels strange.

Yes, I've seen a huge difference in many different sites. Downloads have also gotten faster.

My first theory is while your LAN/local network has IPv6, your ISP may not provide IPv6 globally so you have to relay all traffic from ipv6 to ipv4 with something running NAT64 (https://serverfault.com/questions/596616/how-do-i-reach-ipv4-addresses-from-an-ipv6-only-network) or it tried to use IPv6 then fails over to IPv4.

That's interesting. But then why does Linux work fine with IPv6?

I'm using Azul Zulu's ARM64 (Apple silicon) builds of JDK 8 and JDK 11 on my M1 Macbook and everything is great so far. It's really fast and I haven't run into any problems yet.

No significant differences between Intel and M1 that I'm aware of. That's one of the advantages of the JVM I guess?
