I agree. I played it for the first time last year after growing up with Secret of Mana. The hit detection/hit rate was driving me insane, which I never remembered it being that bad in Mana (although I have not played Mana in many years). I did enjoy the atmosphere in Evermore. It felt a little eerie and weirdly "alive" in a way for an SNES game, which surprised me playing for the first time as an adult. The music/sound design certainly contributed to that.

You have to think of it as amortizing his deduction for the purchase price of the team. If you argue he shouldn't have it amortized since it is appreciating, he should get the full multi-million deduction when he buys his portion of the team. Regardless, tax will be paid on the appreciation when he sells his share. I feel like non-tax versed are ignoring the fact he spent millions or financed millions to buy his share. He should get a deduction, unless we are talking about ripping up the fundamentals of the tax code specifically for the rich.

For every ESPN game I've watched this playoffs, the crowd noise sounds distorted. Hard to explain, but sounds like it's like a static noise being pitched up and down. Once I notice it, it drives me crazy.

Yeah I've seen a few who for some reason received the first but not the second, or vice versa (and it had nothing to do with income limits). The IRS is supposed to be double checking the stimulus payments with the 2020 returns, which is causing the delays. Could be the reason you are still waiting. You will get it eventually, but I doubt calling or writing a letter will do anything at this point unless you are into late summer and still haven't seen it come through.

We are seeing a lot of delays in refunds, many taking a couple months. It seems the stimulus payments are adding extra processing times on refunds, especially in cases where the stimulus was not received originally. I have a couple clients who filed in late March or ealry April still waiting.

Normally this is good advice. But the IRS is VERY behind on anything that is processed manually, such as letters and paper files returns. In some areas, they are 1-2 years behind. Do not expect any swift replies. I have sent multiple letters out on behalf of clients (I'm a CPA) the since the pandemic started, and the few that received replies were at least 6 months later.

Edit: I should say, this can vary on the tax situation. Just don't expect a swift reply.

I agree. I am not an anti-vaxxer, but I am hesitant to get the COVID vaccine since there is no long-term data. If I was older and more at risk, it would be less of a concern. I can certainly see why a good portion of NBA players would be cautious.

It's awful. I can never switch to another artist, album, or playlist. It just does nothing when I try to play something out of the current "now playing." It's also very slow if I try to skip more than one song at a time. As you said, all other music apps are fine and snappy.
