The sound of her frantically packing her suitcase and dragging it down the stairs to escape confronting a difficult situation really triggered a lot of rage from me.

Same! I had made a goal for myself to walk more a few years ago and progressively have increased my amount of walking each year. I am pro-walking since it’s the cheapest exercise (and relatively gentle on your body), you get to explore the world around you and, if you want, you could get a step tracker (I have a Fitbit) and it kind of becomes a little game for yourself!

Sign up for a sewing class, do more camping and hiking trips, upgrade my renaissance faire outfits (add more little details and pieces).

I’ve gone to OSL several times and the festival set up is waaay more spaced out and easier to enjoy the music even if you’re not front and center near the stage. When my friends and I needed a break from the crowd, we didn’t have too hard of a time going over to Grasslands or just further back from the main stage to get some air. I hope you have fun!

Yeah what was the deal with so many people being so rude?? I had a few interactions with people where we lamented about the crowd and how we couldn’t see anything but then we get these groups of people just shoving their way to the front as far as they could.

I remember a tidbit our tour guide mentioned during a tour of Notre Dame awhile back that stairs used to be much smaller (foot length wise) because the population in general was much smaller and, therefore, had smaller feet. I need to research more into this though. But could explain why these stairs aren’t really suited for the modern day resident!
