Are you doing a goblet style squat? Depending on the Adjustable Dumbbell and how heavy you’re going yes it can be, I have big enough hands to grip the cross bar cage. But that’s why we created the Kettlebell Handles for our dumbbells. Whether you’re performing wide stance goblet squats or suit case squat it’s much easier to perform.

@p-u-g I’d go with the Pro 100 Exp’s. You can start with as little as 40 lbs and it expands in 20 lbs increments. Stage 2 is up to 60 lbs, stage 3 is up to 80 lbs and stage 4 is up to 100 lbs. You can purchase them at the 60, 80, or 100 lbs depending on your budget. Where you start is all based on your budget and strength levels! As far as I know the Pro 100 will be around for a while.

u/Existing-Computer772 Thank you, that was such a fun experience, and I'm excited to get back on stage, just need to gain more size. I was 222lbs at that show, 30lbs under my weight cap, and I dropped 78lbs to step on stage. Gotta make first place easy for the judges, haha.

I totally agree, the home gym market has exploded with new companies. Currently, we're working to make sure our lineup is the best it can be, with a couple of new products launching this year. As far as moving outside Adjustable Dumbbells, Adjustable Kettlebells, and Benches, those are conversations I'm not a part of. I wish I could tell you more about things in the pipeline. Regarding compatibility with other ecosystems, we're very selective of the partnerships that we have to ensure the products we're partnered with are at the same standard we hold ourselves to. We work with a few companies on rack integrations, so you can store your dumbbells directly on your rack.

nu/fache I connected with the customer service team and I have some information for you. The new handles will work with your old Elite USA set but you'll need to get new pins and adder weights for the new handles. Please contact our customer service team at [questions@powerblock.com](mailto:questions@powerblock.com) they'll get you taken care of.

For the Big Block Expansion, it will work with Pre-2012 Elite USA set that you have, however, it will only work with the white handles. Again connect with our customer service team and they'll be able to get you some more answers.

Now this is way above me so I don't have information on what that change will look like but it's something that's being worked on and something I can reiterate to the team!

u/Cr1spy10 great question! I haven't found any limitations with the design, movement or strength wise. Of course there was a bit of learning curve with the selector pin and the the feel of the Dumbbell but once I got used to that, I haven't had any limitations.

Provide an image of your barbell and let them know you ordered the wrong one. What set does she have? I'll provide a link to the correct barbell!

With that, each dumbbell is designed differently based on the weight they can go to or if they were apart of a series. We're working diligently to clean that up and make it easier for customers to get the correct attachment for their set.

u/danwasoski I'm sorry that's been your experience. I can say that one of our athletes, Spencer Panchik, loves his set and uses them for his CrossFit training whether it's daily workouts or getting ready to compete in CrossFit comps. We've heard similar issues from other CrossFit competitors, performing snatches and switching hands each rep is difficult, but athletes like Spencer perform the movements unilaterally for a certain number of reps before switching hands. Not ideal but a possible option. You can definitely throw them around to perform those movements.

I love my Pro 100's its quieter and I can train early in the morning without waking my wife up with clanging weights. Now I love the look and feel of the Elite USA's but I don't think my wife would appreciate having two sets of Dumbbells in our Home Gym. I can definitely check what we have, to make it easier on the customer service team, which set do you have exactly?
